Help with my swing!

I struggle eliminating my hand flip from my swing. When everything is timed up well I can shoot high 70s, when its not im in the high 80s to maybe even 90s. Any drills to help with consistency or any other things I should be working on?

It's a really good swing. Try getting the S posture out of your back and get a little more "rounded." Then let your left hip turn a little more behind you going back to give yourself a little more room. Coming down, feel your right hip turn out of the way without your left hip and knee coming towards the ball. You flip because your lower body's getting in the way of the club path, you get stuck, and then you flip.

Easy fix-- hit half-shots with a wedge under your left heel, and don't let that heel come up until after impact. You'll feel your right hip turn with your left hip/knee staying in place better.

Not much wrong with that swing. Maybe small things but who doesn't have small things. I find it hard to believe you cannot shoot mid 70's all the time with that. Where do you loose strokes? Off the tee? The looks of that driver swing it looks like it will work fine or was this a luck shot? Actually your swing is probably better than mine and I have been a 3.4 for twenty years.

Sorry, I'm not a instructor nor would I ever give anybody advice on here about how to swing. I'm saying, that swing is decent enough to not blow up into the 90's.

I'm a fellow lefty low-handicapper who struggles with very similar issues, so I can spot them fairly easily. Bottom line: If you don't free the "lane" up for your arms to swing through, you're always going to get your left elbow stuck behind you and flip at the ball. I don't care how great your arms and hands are, you're relying on timing and this will make you shoot wildly different scores.
