Hard to really make out what this is but looks like a Ventus?
Looks like a Ventus to me. I'm not the best with colors (kind of color blind) but that actually looks like a Ventus Blue to me.
Does anybody know... I know there's such thing as "shaft reps" on tour; Are they out there pushing product and potentially paying guys to use shafts? Lottttt of guys in Ventus right now, not sure if it's really this good or if Fuji is giving players kick backs.
I’ve actually watched the video of this a few times and it doesn’t appear to be a TaylorMade head either so it might not be his driver..
new Mizuno driver it appears to be. With ventus blue
If he puts a Mizuno ST200 in play I will be excited.
Huge if true!
I certainly can't tell what that is besides a Ventus Blue... It isnt a Taylormade though. The black looks too shiny and I see no strip of silver.
I was swing the SIM just a few days ago. Maybe this means he signed with Mizuno officially. They did say they were going to make the driver a must in their future contracts.
Ventus for sure. Is it the st driver or a mavrik?
Is ventus a hotter shaft on tour than the 125msi rogue was?
The Ventus is making its way into more bags. I am sure the @Fujikura Golf guys are stoked.
Watched the video. It is 100% not the SIM. The sound is different and there color is different. I cant tell past that but, I do think he is testing the ST200 based on the look and sound. It is louder then the Mav.
It looks and sounds like a titleist driver
You may be right. Really hard to tell. The Mizuno ST200 has a more tin'y sound like that as well. I wish I could slow down his follow through to catch the bottom.
Wondering if it's someone else's driver... I know Jimmy Walker was playing the Ventus blue in a Titleist, of course. No idea if he's playing over there....
Anybody with really good eyes, can they tell the grip? I think BK has always used the corded GP grips. If that's say... a black MCC or something, it would be more likely that's not even his club.
Looks like his vapor fly iron is out too replaced by a P790
The end of an era haha. Now the price on ebay will come down.
Hi Ziggy - to set the record straight, the performance of our products such as Ventus is why we're successful on Tour. We have never and will never pay players or monetarily incentivize them with reward programs like some of the other shaft companies do. Ventus has proven to perform on Tour and in the aftermarket beyond our expectations. The design and technology is game changing and more and more players are seeing the benefits and their peers switching. Our OEM partners have also had great success with Ventus in their fittings and trust the performance so it is often highly recommend when a player does testing.
In this case in Abu Dhabi it is just testing and we'll have to see if it goes in play.
Thanks for listening and we'll hop back off the soap box :)
Glad to see him back playing

Shocker if he moves away from a TM driver. The Fuji shaft is so much smoother than his older Mitsubishi shaft but wonder why he'd make the switch if he's not getting $ out of it. You'd think TM would pay him more to get him on board vs whatever he has in this pic.
Ding Ding Ding
Testing out Jimmy Walker's TS3 w/ Ventus Blue 6-X in it.
Went right back to his Taylormade. Was just having fun with it.
Just want to be clear, I wasn't accusing you or suggesting you are paying guys to use it. It was an honest question... I'm considering buying one myself to be honest. It's gotta be the #1 shaft in guys driver/3w right now and after seeing/hearing a few things about how maybe some club fitters get "persuaded" by OEMs to push brands, I was curious.
But uh... since you're here, what's the 411? Is Bruce gaming a Ventus Blue now or what?
Knowing what little I do about your game from our comment history together, you'd really like Ventus Blue. I'm putting the 6X in play this year after hitting the blue and black this winter on TrackMan.
It's awesome to hear you guys chime in so quickly on posts @Fujikura Golf

Appreciate that. And it really is that good! :)
Also we love seeing how keen the WRX community is when tour players make a change or do testing, you guys and gals don't miss anything!
Well from the EI profile stuff I've seen from 3rd party sources, I think it fits the bill nicely. Softer mid section so I can load it up nicely and feel the shaft working for me but not whippy. I have the Accra 465 in there right now and that's the shaft I was originally put in late 2018. Tried Smoke Black all 2019 and it worked okay but somedays I hated it and others I loved it. Looking to get more consistency in where my miss goes, the Smoke has me missing left and right, at least with my Accra I'm mostly just missing on one side.
But Jimmy Walker is here in the desert...
I edited my comment briefly after you quoted this so I'll just ask again lol - Is my boi BK rocking the VB (furthermore, is that a Mizzy head or maybe a TS3?) for 2020?
I'm more interested in what shoes he is wearing?
I hope he does. That would be fun,.
