First time I’m seeing it, not a fan to be honest.
This is NOT a Spider. Call it something else.
Why call it a spider? Looks more like a #7 headshape.

I like it too, don’t get me wrong. I just don’t like the fact that they’re trying to call it a Spider when it doesn’t even resemble one.
I got to use this one in store 2 weeks ago. For me, I like it way better than spider X. But I wasn’t a fan of TheX to begin with. I used the original spider and ghost spider but now use a Ping Vault 2.0 ketsch. The new S was great for a straight back, straight thru stroke. I do not like the X hosel.
Interesting. I have SBST stroke and the Spider X is money for me.
Here's to hoping they make the Spider S with other necks. The double bend and I just don't get along.
Bill Price with Matt Adams to talk about the Spider X and Spider S:
I don't know why, but I already have a feeling that probably before the end of the year, we'll see a Spider S Mini version popping up.
Make a mini version with the same neck as the Spider Mini copper and I'm in.
Shape is okay. Not a fan calling it Spider though. Very confusing.
This looks much more like a Chaska putter than a Spider.
