Then says “ if someone is cheating the rules i have no sympathy for him “ or something to that effect. It wasn’t an out and out rebuke of Reed as most wished it was. Worst he said was that his camera angle excuse was bull. Never gives any of this “ own it man , kiss the public’s ring and make it go away “ nonsense .

Mostly a media pushed and made up deal . He didnt even speak out voluntarily. He was asked about it in an interview. That’s hardly the same thing. ( my opinion ). Loads of nothing. About nothing.

The PGA Tour are very strange at times. As in if you don’t want to be included in the controversy then you give a diplomatic answer such as this “I wasn’t in his group so I didn’t really see what happened. I’m just focused on my game right now”. Unless you just like being in the middle of drama that’s the answer you give. And I see no indication that he enjoyed being in the middle of that since he hasn’t followed up with any other comments to escalate it
