Those are raw heads before they are chrome plated. Copper is waaaay too soft to last very long from hitting golf balls.   Greg

Chris Voshall was asked about this and shot it down immediately. Said it would be impossible to make the club with just the copper finish. Said that copper liner is so thin it would last about 2 rounds.

Exactly. Id speed up the green by leaving them outside.

 

Wont turn green ready anyway. Just a darker tone on and on. Then you can renew them with a quick CLR bath.
