g410 to the sim woods very interesting
TW grind lob wedge huh? Interesting.
Did True Spec seriously build those irons for him??
Is Gary secretly a Golfwrx'er club hoe?
Quite a few guys live near centers so get work done through them while at home
For example there is a True Spec in the performance Center at Lake Nona
And at Albany
I know True Spec used to build a lot of Justin Rose’s stuff
I think it is hilarious that he even pretends to play the cortex..
He must have stole one of TWs spares...
Looks like Rahm has one in play too. And judging by the wear it has been the bag a little while.
8.0 SIM with an Accra RPG! Nice!
wonder what the shaft adapter is set at since the numbers have been wiped
I think it's just set to the full upright position so from that angle we can't see the other settings. You can just barely make out the text on the right side I think.
What happens to the face angle on upright? I only remember seeing him in the lower setting
That looks like a very fresh set of irons. Zero chatter on those.
I know last year he was fit at TXG by Ian. I wonder if he went back there this year for these irons.
Interesting that the TW wedge doesn't have the artisan stamping on the hosel like the ones in TWs bag. Would imply that they have the grind programmed in and ready to produce on a production line, but its not available at retail, and TW is still getting his ones hand ground somewhere else!
Apparently the face angle doesn't change, its purely a lie angle adjustment.
Did he get rid of the hi toe 64 or is it just not pictured?

Also, the back is different on Woodland's. Tiger's wedges are flat on the back, but still have that curved line. Woodland's have the recessed area above the curve like the retail model. I wonder if Wood's didn't like the look of the recession, or if it's a weight thing.
They might have built them or they might have just PURE'd his shafts for him or something. A surprising amount of guys will go to outfits like this to get little tweaks or fits done. OEM's might make clubs, but not all of them have the operation to do a proper fitting like a TXG or True Spec.
Do pros really get shafts PURE'd? Seems like most think it's a farce. Of course most of golf marketing is.😁
List from SST PURE's website of which Pro's get their shafts PURE'd every year. They wouldn't be allowed to use their names on their website like this unless it was legitimate. As you can see, many, many elite players do it every single year, including Tiger Woods himself. I'd say it's not a farce, haha.
I'd say you're right. It seems like there are more critics of it than for it in the WRX world was my thought.
My take has always has been it almost definitely isn't hurting... but is it really helping Ams a huge amount? Radial consistency of steel shafts is like 98-99%+ so it's pretty much a waste of money except for elite players or guys with money to burn (IMO).
Yeah here's why pros get their shafts Pured - "OK pro we'll build this set for you and do everything possible to make it perfect. No charge." Pro says "OK sounds good"
Well said. They have no idea and like most of the training toys spotted when they see something they jump on the wagon. Especially if someone wins with it.
Tiger used too or tried to have his own build shop like OMera. So he knows a lot abot gear while others just play what they are given only to have fitted professionally but don’t care why or how.
Exactly. To take it a step further: “we’ll cut you a check for $25k to have this blue sticker on your shaft...yeah it’s on the bottom, you won’t see it.”
I hope Woodland has a good season. I'm glad Wilson got him.
