Ping G410 Hybrids

Who’s in here hitting the Ping g410 hybrids. Give me some pros and cons. And what did you switch from before the Ping g410. Also can add what shafts playing. I just got me 3 and 4 ping g410 hybrids. And I’m coming from the jpx 900. I can not deal with the blue heads anymore. Also I’ll be taking my tour ad iz 85 shafts out them and sticking them into to the pings. It’s what shaft I was fitted for. Thanks in advance for anyone’s info. History SS with hybrids are 90mph. Spin 3600, launch angle around 16-17 carrying 215 with the old 3. What will the Pings give me. I’m looking for the pings to be easier to hit. And the flat lie options.

I have the 3 hybrid set to 18* and a little flat. Played the G400 before it. The G410 surpasses it in every way: feel, distance, versatility. I play the stock stiff and it works great for me.

Just a heads-up on your planned shaft swap. Mizuno hybrids are .370, Ping hybrids are .355.

I swing the driver at 122mph. I played the stock stiff Alta cb for most of the year and it was great! Just put a tensei pro white 90tx in it. Suits me a little better but the stick one was really good as well

incorrect. Not the g410 hybrid are .370. The fairway and drivers are .355

or the driver and fairway maybe .335 but I called ping the hybrid are .370

I play the 4H with the Tour 85 shaft in a Stiff. Standard loft/lie/grip. If I were to change anything it would be the grip but the performance of this club is outstanding. Love it off the fairway but it performs even better out of the rough, just pick a line and swing and you're sure to get out and end up where you want. I like this club so much in fact that it replaced a Titleist 910H which I primarily used off the tee as a fairway finder. I think this G410 is a little bit more versatile from my experience.

Went through this last season...and even tested against the blue jpx900 which I actually like better than the Mizuno CLK hybrid. I also tested against Titleist, Cobra, older cally....ended up with the G410 4H (set to 21) with Evenflow blue 85 6.0. Really hits it high and far. Great off the fairway...never hit more greens from 200 +/- before. Not big on the turbulators, but got over it when I hit it well. Better off fairway than tee for me (pretty shallow clubface), but still use it off tee everyonce in a while.

They are the best hybrid I have tested. Shallow face, they look so easy to elevate and they go far. Driver SS at 105-110 MPH and I hit the 4H ~220 yds. The stock stiff just seems to work for me. I may add a 2H as well.

Ping Tour shafts are amazing. Flat out perform for me.

I have a 19-degree with a Matrix Altus X. Great club, very forgiving and Ping's hottest hybrid. I had to turn the loft up to 20 to get the distance I wanted.

I have the 3H and recently added the 4H. Love the ability to set the club flat and they are great performers! Went with the tensei blue shaft but could easily see the ping tour 85 being a winner as well!

Got to demo the G410's at the PGA S/S in Palm Desert, performed well in the sim, got the B-new heads off E-Bay, picked up a Tense CK Pro Orange for the #4/22* & getting the #3/19* shafted up tomorrow at Pete Carlson's, then off to the range & plan to play in the next few days, will see how they do on the course.

Does anyone know the weight of the tungsten weight that comes in the stock 3H? I’m planning on picking one up and want to buy a weight from eBay to increase the swing weight.

I thought I was the only one who did that! More than once I have tried stuff out at the SAME PGA Superstore and then drove a couple of miles to Pete's and save a lot of money,,, soon as things open up again, might have to go try those PING Hybrids at the PGA store,,,,,

Took the plunge, bought the 3 and 4, figure since I have the G-700’s,,,, now time to wait for them to be delivered and for the course to open.

should see an improvement , my current hybrid’s are Cleveland Mashies,,,

If you are able to do that with Ping clubs, I'd be VERY surprised, and it won't be long before the store selling them for less loses their Ping account. Ebay is one thing; retail store prices on Ping products do NOT vary.

I don't know how Ping expects us to play with clubs that are so far out of spec!

Allow me to explain, Pete's been around for years, early 80's . The people who work there are incredible, friendly and helpful.

I would rather support Pete than the PGA Superstore, seen too many shady deals there. Just for the fun of it I asked what they would give me in trade for my near mint Cameron TEI3, young kid said "Well, not too many people looking for these, we can do $75 to $90 depending on condition".

Just ordered the 2, 3, and 4 (going to drop my 3 wood). In the simulator I was crushing the 3 hybrid - easily 20 yards beyond my circa 2007 Adams a2. I'm a little leary of the huge range of adjustments. I can see myself getting a little obsessive over trying to dial them in. Can't wait to get them in the bag!
