Club corp Firestone

Anyone with a club corp membership plan Firestone country club? Is it difficult to get a tee time? If you brought guests, how much did they have to pay?

Just call the Club Corp travel agent. They can give you all the details. I'm playing there this coming spring. I know that two of the three courses are free (like all other CC locations) but the pro course (South?) requires an additional fee. All three courses are unavailable during the week of the Bridgestone Tournament. Typically a Club Corp member can only take a guest to their home club. Once or twice a year Club Corp does have special offers allowing members to take guests to any associated course. There are restrictions.

You may also consider spending a night or more there and playing 2 or 3 of the courses. Last year my son and I stayed in the locker room dorms which was a fun experience. Will do it again some year. They also have other accommodations on site. ClubCorp offers a package with different pricing for members versus guests and it includes one round on the South course.

Tee times are a little unique as not everyone starts on hole one. They use both the 1st and 10th tee and have morning and afternoon times. When I played in the summer on Sunday afternoon, the South course was virtually empty. I think we were the only afternoon tee time starting on the 10th. Pace of play on both courses we played was outstanding.
