Ordered last Monday, shipped out same day with tracking number and arrived on time. Easy to setup, it is sensitive to distance from camera and having enough light. I bought a LED light as my basement is pretty dark and it worked.

Used it this morning for the first time. Menu is very intuitive, good graphics, and data seems accurate. Will definately continue using it.

Whats it like on club data?

Ball speed, launch angle and direction, clubface at impact and path.

Can you share a pic of your setup. I’m going to order soon. But want as much info as I can get.

Got mine yesterday and was impressed with the accuracy. I did a quick setup (camera is in front of TV not on top) because I was eager to play. Also, this system is very portable, I can see me taking with me on business trips.

So what is the feel like. Do you feel like you can judge distance easily?

I ordered mine and it was delivered first week of March. The play 9 has been fun. I have learned a few things about my stroke when the practice mode picks it up. Seems to work best with the stickers (dark putter or light).

The practice modes are tougher, it is very hard to judge what stroke you need for a given distance. The shorter distance are easier as you can have a visual, like a wall 5 feet a way for a 5 foot putt. But 15-40 feet are tougher to judge and I wonder if there is any benefit in practicing those distances.

As for the stickers, you must use them on a dark putter, i.e. black ox finish, etc. I have a plain SS Scotty as well that does not always pickup. The good news is you can use any white or silver 1/2" diameter dot. It comes with 20 stickers, and you need 2 per putter. They stick well, but really don’t want them on my gamer during a round. I found a roll of 1000 on Amazon that I’ll order and test out, they’re $7.

If you have any ideas on how to best judge distance then let me know.

I can't believe there's not more buzz on these units. For the price point, the data points you get are insane. Plus - it's really fun to use. I see this being a huge help in dialing in a better putting stroke. I have one coming today - review to follow.

Very interesting. I do a lot of putting practice, but I'd love to have actual data to help identify flaws, guide practice, and measure improvement.

just got mine today...it is EXTREMELY useful...in practice mode, you can run an analysis on your putting and it will make you putt 30 balls from random distances...then after it will store your numbers and tells you what you're improving on...the play 9 game is fun, it's like if you hit every greens in regulation so you have 9 birdie opps...I highly reccomend getting one for the winter

Does the Exputt Putting Simulator work with an iPad instead of a TV monitor?

The video output is HDMI and I don't believe that is is Bluetooth. I know nothing about the Lightning to HDMI adapter, but I wonder if it would allow for video input to the iPad. If yes, then that might work.

iPad does not accept video input and act as a monitor unless you're using software on a Mac/PC to allow it.

I just received my EXPUTT order. It seems to work well but for the $399 price tag, I am a little disappointed. The camera feels like cheap plastic, the travel tote for the putting mat is made of cheap throwaway fabric, and the unit I received was missing the TV mount for the camera.

Received my ExPutt and it seems to be aces for accuracy, so far I enjoy it a lot! Very portable and getting the mat seen was easy. I did have an issue during sunset where the rays through the windows caused the camera to miss the mat.

This thing is terrific. Received mine 7 days ago and its very addicting. Don't get the complaints about looking/being cheap - I think the set up is very well thought out. Yes, the camera (and internal processor) is in a plastic housing, but it isn't flimsy. The set up is extremely easy, the mat and bumper are really cool and space saving. Most importantly, it's really accurate and informative. Very similar to a SAM Putting Lab set up, but obviously less sophisticated. If you're interested in refining your stroke, getting accurate feedback and working on touch, there is nothing to complain about. A+

Update: Customer service is great. They promptly sent me a TV mount for the camera.
