TS Woods beat the Titleist Stigma?

Quick story, and then a question on yalls opinion.

Last 2 rounds I took out a TS2 3 wood with AD DI (in my sig) and never missed when I used it, I was blown away by the feel, sound, look AND FOR ONCE the performance. Side by side to my old Jetrspeed and my buddys M6 fairway the TS2 was either matched in distance or slightly back but with better accuracy. Could i be just a great combo for my swing? OR has Titleist really got something special with these, I know I'm late to the party with it but now I'm kicking myself for not giving the TS4 a go last year. What do yall think of Titleist entering the woods category with high regard the past year? Will the new TS woods (prob coming this fall) have a shot at your bag?

    Yes, they have finally caught the attention of everyone now that they are up there with TaylorMade, Callaway etc.

    Love the TS3 fairway so I would agree never kept up with Callaway or TM for me until this season

    Looking at the tourney site photos that Greg puts up pretty sure I've seen some non-staffer adoption, but I'd be hard pressed to tell you who it just seems I've seen it. I always weight non-staffer use heavily.

    I think the fairways have been great for a while. It's the drivers that have to shake the stigma and they finally have a line that will send them in the right direction. We were talking about this on our podcast the other day and all agreed that it's going to take Titleist a few driver cycles before they're talked about in the same air as TM, Cally and Ping.

    True I agree the fairways have been decent in the past, The combo I've seen a couple times is the Mizuno staffers using the Mizuno Driver but then a tS 3 wood.

    I think the 915 Fairways were a turning point for Titleist. You still see them in a lot of players bags to this day which shows how good they are. I upgraded to the TS3 and it is an absolute cannon off the tee. Its forgiving and it just goes so so far. I do not think they are 'top-tier- off the fairways though from a forgiveness standpoint. A lot of modern fairways are fairly flat on the sole of the club and face. Titleists are more rounded so you need to be swinging well.

    Still, the performance and looks are fantastic. Big fan and will not be changing for years.

    The drivers have always been fine for consistent swings that are medium / fast Swing speeds. Very quick speeds created too much spin and loss of distance. You would never say they produce long drivers.

    The TS driver in my opinion was the Driver of 2019 in terms of performance. A great product that's just fast all over the face. A huge step forward for Titleist and I think with a bit more innovation they will be regarded in the same bracket as TM, Callaway and PING.

    How do you like the TS4?? Man I'm bummed I never gave it the proper look. Only had the budget for one driver and went M5 (which I love) but the TS4 is the sexiest driver around.

    Love it. Great feel and sound and yeah, it's the best looking driver by far. ****, all the TS woods are the best looking - but I'm a simple guy that just wants everything to be black.

    @aenemated same here! I value simplicity. The ts4 is one of the best looking drivers I have seen in a while. Very close to my old j715 b5.

    I guess I’m in the minority. I played the 909 D3 and up until last year the 913 D3. Lived both of them and was excited to try the TS lime but was disappointed. I bought the TS3 with Even Flow 6.5 and dumped it after 2 months. This past summer I picked up a TS4 with Diamana White 70x and liked it better but didn’t see a huge improvement over my 913. I’m gaming a Mizuno ST190G now and ordered a 200G with Ventus Black for 2020

    Never noticed Titleist drivers to lag behind?

    Then again, I didn't need 46' builds, 1K of spin kill, and 2-3 extra degrees of mystery loft that slipped past QC to get distance out of them.

    Big fan of the TS woods and driver line. Bigger fan of the Cobra woods and my M6 Driver but, I wouldn't knock the TS line at all. Great stuff. TS2 was just a straight hitter for me when I demo'd one early in their release.

    Tried a TS3 3 Wood last season when I broke my Vapor Fly with a view to picking one up, and was very close to making a purchase. Unfortunately the pro who was fitting me brought out another 3 wood, which was 10 yards longer, hence ended up in the bag.

    That fairway wood?

    A 917 F3.

    The TS3 was great, but I couldn't turn down that extra performance for £110 less - as it meant I could buy the Driver to go with it :)

    September 2018, so ~16 months.

    Here are the driver retail release months for each of the past 5 launches (not including the supplementary mid-cycle launches like the TS4 or 915D4). With the 910 and 913, I believe the fairway release was delayed until the following spring post PGA show (915 and later I believe fairways started shipping around the same time as drivers).

    TS = September 2018

    917 = October 2016

    915 = November 2014

    913 = November 2012

    910 = November 2010

    Anyone have issues with face cracking on the TS3 fairway? I got mine last summer and have about a 1 inch long crack running horizontal just above the top groove. Think they will replace it but I'm now without a fairway wood for ****? days due to Titleist just opening back up. Very annoyed because it is a club I use off the tee 5 times a round at my main course.

    Been seeing issues with the TS line and the G410 line cracking for some reason. Your right, sucks to be out of a fairway wood for who knows how long, hoping they can turn it around quick!

    There are so many great reviews for the TS series on here but I just cannot see past the fact that during a recent driver fitting they could not improve on the ball speed my Titleist 910 produced!!

    Maybe all the Titleist drivers inbetween were poor, I dont know, but for me atleast there was no improvement at all

    *just a side note, of all the drivers I tested only the G400 max gave me slightly better numbers but it was only slightly
