One year on, how's the feedback on the G410 LST fairway?

Initial TXG review in February last year said it had unheard of ballspeed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GeEXxeccAwQ&t=929s

Currently gaming an M3 - really like the small profile behind the ball and the fact I can put the weight in the toe, but it's not the most forgiving. Flushed the M3 is a monster though.

Also curious how people find the extremely shallow looking face of the G410 LST fairway.

Just placed my order through Discount Dans. Once it comes in I’ll let you know how I like it! I have the G410 LST driver and am in love and did some rough testing at GG with the fairway but it seemed really nice. TXG was raving about it which sold me. Hoping the stock shaft works out!

Been gaming it since it came out and it is one of my favorite 3 woods ever. A monster off the tee and still easy to elevate off the deck. The standard G410 fairway wood launched too high for me

Love the G410 line of woods! Adjustable and very easy to hit. Love the matte black finish too!

just make sure your spin numbers are solid when demoing. Too low spin on a fairway is a dangerous thing

I found the sound to become unappealing to me over time. It was very easy to elevate, long, and I like the smaller sized head. I made the switch to a TM Sim 3 wood recently though.

Pro's - a monster for sure. As a guy who plays a natural draw, this thing is a laser beam and I can even fade it most of the time when I try to. Love the look behind the ball in the fairway and super easy to hit off the deck. Rolls forever.

Con's - Sound is awful. No thwack, no thud, it's a tin-ny- ping type (no pun intended) sound. Also, don't even try to hit it out of the rough. Chances are you'll get under it before you'll make solid contact.

Mine I had set to 1* Flat which took the loft down to 13.5. which explains both the pros and cons as far as performance goes. The sound is off putting but it's not an end all for me. I toss it into the bag depending on what courses I play.

You can play it in the standard loft flat setting. Would still play at 14.5

Yup. I have mine in this setting too. I wouldn't even be confident in hitting a 13.5 fairway off the deck lol

Have one with hotmelt that improved sound and feel. Make sure to tee it a little lower as it’s quite a shallow face but I’ll be damned if it Doesn’t get out and go. I can work it quite a bit either way and it still has that Ping forgiveness.

For me it’s been probably the easiest to hit 3w I’ve ever played. Sound is different but not awful imo. Sits down nice behind the ball. Wasn’t quite as long as my epic 3w but still long enough. Not leaving my bag anytime soon. To me it just feels impossible to not hit it straight.

It's a great club. I have mine down at 13.5/flat… it becomes a fantastic advancement club, and great off the tee. I don't often tee it, but there are many instances where I need the ball to move 200m on a line. It stays low and straight, and that's exactly what I want. And the 410's in flat are just what I needed, including the hybrid.

I have a G SFT turned down to 15, and it's ok, but it can balloon. I have a G 5 I can play at 16.5, and it's excellent, but subject to wind. The key to the 410LST is low spin and low trajectory. If I absolutely cane it, I still don't apex above 70 feet, and that's perfect for me. Below the tree line.

I think Ping has really made a good club here. But I need the face to be a little deeper to feel comfortable off a tee. But from the turf its a very good club.

I got fitted for the G410 LST over the weekend, that thing is a monster. Yes it's not the most appealing sound but it did remind me of my old Cobra F7 so was never really turned off by that. The 160mph ball speed squashed any issues I would have had with the sound which I didn't. Waiting for the club to come in then will get some real world testing done.

Took me a little bit to get used to the sound and feel but i hit it well so i like it. Used to feel like the ball was heavier than the club on contact and the tink sound is high pitched.

i have the regular 410 with the ping tour 75 s and am loving it. Have used it out of fairways, bunkers, rough and the tee box. Great results almost always. Just the best three wood I have hit.

I have to wonder though, when I strike mine pure I love the sound/feel if I miss it a bit I know right then. Still fun to look up and see a ball close to the path I plan even on miss hits

It does have kind of a weird sound for a fairway wood. A bit more like a driver sound to be honest. That being said i did not find it all that bothersome.

I play mine at 14.5 with the tour 75 shaft and it's very playable. I hit it higher than my F9 with Black Tie 80. I don't have trackman numbers but i would guess my spin is very low, i was hitting it off the back of my driving range, and i could never do that with the F9 .

So i'm hitting high bombs. This will be tremendous off a tee. Not sure how it will be for approaching greens, though usually if you are hitting 3 woods into a par 5 you're just happy to be around the green

Mine weirdly spun quite a bit. Went to Sim Max 15* and getting much better performance after a fitting. The sound is also night and day. The LST sounds absolutely gross unfortunately. The Sim Max sounds like you're hitting the ball with a baseball bat it's amazing.
