Cobra King Tour irons

Does anyone have any information or pictures on the new Cobra King Tour irons for 2020?

Noticed they appeared on Golf Digest's Hot List, but haven't seen anything else about them. Cobra King Tour Review - Players Irons - Golf Digest

These will be interesting. Love that Cobra is pushing the envelope in tech with these. Curious to see if they still use the insert even with MIM. I thought the king forged tours were a fantastic iron with not a lot of attention given to them.

They are not. They replace the King Forged Tour that Bryson uses.

makes sense. They seem to be crowding out the same segment for their own irons. To me, these and the King Forged Tec are kinda the same category of iron. I understand the differences, but the still fit similar players.

guess it depends if these are a distance iron, i would see these more as a T100 competitor and the Forged Tech are more T400, if you compare to Titleist, they have 5 or 6 models

May release makes no sense. For reasons repeated here every time a Cobra product is coming out in the middle of golf season for most.

Sleek design and I'm excited to see how the MIM tech performs. I guess they're not really forged so it will be interesting to see how they feel too. Also, I don't know where you got that pic and if it's in black & white. I wonder what color scheme they'll go with. I like it as is. Kinda gives off a Srixon 585 vibe. I'm guessing a KBS stock shaft offering, which I like too.

My Cobra rep said March.

So what do we know about these? I have seen virtually nothing on them. I really like Cobra products but sometimes they are late to the game. It’s too bad. Strange as well that they were first out with the driver.

Think the looks pretty good, and happy to hear they are in the t100 category. Hopefully this means somewhat traditional lofts too. Seems many irons either fall into the traditionally lofted fully forged CBs with little help, or the distance players irons category (I know there are some exceptions :))

A shame if it's a May release though - would like to test these sooner

Those look a lot better than the initial pic.

I liked the satin look better from the earlier pic. And they straight up copied Titleist AP2 Tungsten font.

I thought the same exact same thing when I saw that latest pic. I was out, but now I’m back in on being interested.

Dang what a tease

This is going to be one of those irons (like the t100) that look much better in the “in the hand photo”, than the original golf digest pic and they will probably look even better in person!

I bet lofts are based off a 46* PW and 33* 7 iron.

King Forged Tour was 45* pw iirc, so I expect the same for this one.

Also think 45* pw sounds likely. In between the t100 and t100s, so it's probably not a bad segment of the market for lofts.

Golf Digest say that the PW is 45* and 7 iron is 33*.

Was this supposed to be revealed in Golf Digest??
