Clubfitter in Chicagoland area

Hello everyone...hope all is well! I am relatively new to GolfWRX so I apologize if this has been asked already.

Does anyone have a reputable club fitter that they go to in the Chicagoland area? I have always tinkered with my clubs myself and tried different shafts and head combos but as you know that gets kind of expensive...my basement looks like small golf shop! I would like to get in with a session with a club fitter and see what their thoughts are and if they have any recommendations. I have read mixed reviews about the local Club Champions and big box stores (ehh). Just looking to see if anyone has a recommendation for a trusted club fitter that actually knows what they are doing. You guys are the experts.

Current set-up is:

I am 6'-2", 250 lbs.

Cobra F9, 9 deg set at 9 deg/neutral. CK Pro White, 60TX shaft. Playing length at 44.5". Swingspeed in 105 mph to 110 mph range depending on the day. Typical numbers: 13-15 deg launch, 155 mph ball speed, 2500 to 2900 rpm backspin, 255 to 265 carry

Mizuno 919 Forged irons. KBS Tour, S+, 125g, steel shafts, +1/2" length. 9i-145yd carry, 8i-155yd carry, 7-iron-168 yd carry, 6-iron-185yd carry, 5-iron 200yd carry. Again these are averages.

I've never been, but a buddy went to Green Grass Clubfitting in West Chicago and was pretty happy with them. My understanding of them is they're much like Club Champion where they have a selection of clubs and shafts and Trackman data, but they also can meet people at St. Andrews to get numbers and more importantly let you see the ball flight to know that it's to your liking. Otherwise as mentioned there's always Club Champion, Cool Clubs, etc.

I have heard some good things about Mistwood in Romeoville. Though I have never been there

Mistwood is great. Chris and Eric really know what they’re doing. Only downside is they don’t have a lot of X flex shafts so you may be left wanting to try something they don’t have. Also, since it’s winter, they are not at the course. They’re at the Mistwood golf dome in bolingbrook off of Route 53. In my opinion as I have been fit at the course and the dome, definitely worth waiting til their back at the course. At the course you’re either hitting off real grass or in a private bay. At the dome you’re at the far side and you can still hear everyone around you, it’s not that private and quite loud. Also at the course, they have you use Callaway Chrome softs instead of range balls.

Eagleman...thank you so much for the info. I probably see you at the Mistwood Golf Dome as I am there a few times a week...I work right down the street from there! How often do you go? Let me know if you want to get out sometime...always looking for more golf buddies...PM me if interested. I appreciate the heads-up about waiting until it warms up to get fit at the course with real balls and grass. The dome is nice though for practice and at least they replaced those sh***y tees that they had before.

I don’t go to the dome as much as I’d like too haha. I try to get there once or twice a week, but lately with working on my house and work, I haven’t been there lately. I wish they would get a more realistic putting and chipping green. It literally feels like putting on concrete! But if there’s snow in the ground, it is a nice, warm place to go and get some practice in.
