ousuxndallas
Looking through the St. Andrews website, on a day I wanted to play (July 25) it's listed as a "busy day" due to a club gathering. There is "No Ballot" for that day. Will they still have a walk-up line that morning, or will the course be 100% reserved for the club? Hawkeye77
You could email them, but I'd bet closed to public for the day.
davep043
I think @Hawkeye77 is probably right. When they say No Ballot All Day, and its the St Andrews Golf Club fall meeting, they mean its reserved for the club members all day long. Now if you're out in the pub the night before, and you happen to make friends with a member, I suppose there's a chance to get invited, but I'd really doubt it. Disastermaster
The ballot is closed to all non members on that specific day with no option to join or be on the singles list.
