Tour AD DI touch up paint

i recently purchased a 3 wood that has a tour ad di installed. The shaft was pulled from another adaptor and installed Into this Callaway and the adapter wasn’t the same size so some of the black is showing where it connects. Not a huge deal but bothers me. Anyone know of a touch up orange paint that works well?

Just encountered the same problem myself. Pulled a GBB Epic tip and had an Epic Flash tip (3 wood) installed. left about a 1/2 inch of unpainted area near the tip.

Im going to try to match the orange color with Krylon and apply several thin coats and a couple of clear ones. Its a small area that is barely visible at address but it looks sloppy.........

Let me know how it goes. Mine is an epic flash as well. They pulled the shaft from a Titleist

Nothing will ever look good

wrap some tape like electrical tape just above the adapter or fertile and call it good, or carefully do permanent marker

Is it possible to install a ferrule or longer ferrule if it already has one?

Pull it, tip it, and re-install?

After the pull of a GBB Epic and install of a Flash tip, there is 1/2" - 3/4" of scuffed area above the tip. Flash tip is shorter. Tipping will effect performance not to mention make the club shorter.

I tried painting the scuffed area with a matching color. Problem is the GD DI shaft is a metallic orange and a regular gloss orange doesnt look good at address. Painting black as suggested by 3TAC is probably the best solution.

Resurrecting an old thread here, but I have the same issue.  I pulled a couple AD DI's from some Callaway Rogue hybrids a couple years ago and I'm installing them in some PING G410 hybrids.  The insertion depth is longer on the Callaways and so there is some prepped area showing above the ferrule on the PING adapter.  I think the solution I am going to use is to put a short piece of heat shrink tubing above the ferrule.  Most likely I'll use black, but I may be able to find some orange heat shrink that looks okay.  Just throwing this idea out there in case you guys run into a similar problem.
