Srixon Z785/ Z Forged Combo lofts

Anyone playing a Z785/Z Forged combo do anything to the lofts? I am playing the 4-6 in the 785 and 7-PW in the Forged but wondering if I should change lofts anywhere to match set better? Looks like there is a 5 degree change in the full 785 set between the 8 and 9 and with the combo that 5 degree gap occurs between the 6 and 7. Looks like there is only a degree difference at most anywhere in the set so probably doesn't make that big of a difference but just wondering.

I don't play that combo but wouldn't be too concerned unless you actually see a difference, or it gets in your head that there IS a difference.

I strong lofted my Z-Forged 1 degree to get the right gapping going into my Z785, probably very minor difference length wise but it feels good.

I have this same setup. Basically made the Z Forged lofts match up with the Z785 and I believe that meant making the 7 and 8 Z Forged 1 deg strong. I haven't noticed any issues with gapping in the year I've had the set.

I’m thinking about going the other way and weakening the 4, 5, 6 of my 785s from 22, 25, 28 to 23, 26, 29 and leaving the 7-pw Z-forged as is. This would make everything from 4-pw match a set of z-forged lofts. I need to play a few more rounds before I do. I only managed two rounds in the Fall after buying them.

I was actually thinking about doing the same thing. That would make them a little bit more in line with my previous set of iblades and the Srixons tend to launch a little lower anyways

I combo them with just the 3i/4i in the 785s. I had the 4i bent 1º weak (3i in each set are identical lofts) so it plays to the Z-Forged 4i loft. I would say just pick one set's lofts that you think work best for you and bend the other set's irons to match those (Z-Forged 1º strong for most or Z-785 1º weak for most). If you want a little less spin and lower flight or more distance bend the Z-Forged 1º strong and if you want a little more spin and height and less distance bend the 785s 1º weak.
