Wide blades: bb8, squareback, er2.2, doublewide

Hey All,

is anyone able to put up some comparison photos of all or some of these wide blades: bettinardi bb8 wide, Cameron squareback 2, evnroll 2.2 (or similar) and the odyssey doublewide? Hard to find them in shops near me

you should definitely consider Bettinardi QB6 as well. Fantastic wide body blade.

Good call. Is the sbs a plumbers neck? Looks like it, but bettinardi calls it a slant neck.

...I've owned 3 of the 4 listed and I prefer the Squareback 2.0 or the Evnroll 2.2 in terms of shapes // the only one still in rotation is the Studio Select Squareback 2.0, because from heel to toe it is the most compact of all putters in this style type (unless you end up with a micro/mini putter)

I really like the wide blades. I've gamed the Cleveland Huntington Beach 8, the Scotty Cameron Squareback 1.0,

and I am currently using the Taylormade Patina Del Monte, which I love. Keeping it in the bag for a long time.

Are these face balanced blade putters?

Yes, or nearly so. Del Monte is 8 degree.

How do you like the ER2.2 - just picked up one with the stability shaft?

I just ordered a Stroke Lab Black Double Wide Flow neck..... can't wait to get some practice in with it.

How is the Stroke Lab Black Double Wide in the flow neck coming along. Just saw it the other day at my local golf shop. Love the way it sets up. But I’m normally a mallet guy.

I've only been able to use it twice due to multiple factors (living in RI so its warm enough to not snow but cold enough to keep me off the course so no ranges are open, Corona virus has closed some ranges down after they opened for a few days, and the 'Honey Do' list)....

The first time was on a practice green which I had the whole thing to myself and spent about 30-40 minutes. Obviously I had to make a couple adjustments right away since I'm going from a center shafted putter to this but I must admit that I really do like it.

The second time was sneaking out and playing a "quick" 9 (it took 3 hours which was miserable). I need to work on lag putting from distances/off the green due to the weighting being different. I felt as if i was getting a little "wild" when trying to give it a little extra which made me miss hit and pushed the ball way off the line I wanted. I just need to slow it down a little.

I'm a fan though. If you're liking it in the store, definitely try it out on a course.

I liked it a lot except I bought it used without knowing the specs and the loft and lie were way off for what I need -- didn't want to risk the amount of bending needed so I sold it to a friend. I am sure if would be even better with the stability shaft!

...did yours have a noticeable high pitch "ting" to it? I owned one of those about 2 years ago and loved everything about it except for the terrible sound at impact.

Can't say I remember the ting, but mine had the extra deep milling on the face
