SIK putters

I’m thinking this will be my next putter, but I would do love to hear a one feedback from people who have them. Let’s hear it. Is the technology really special, or are they just another putter? Thanks in advance!

I'd like to think I have an honest review but some may doubt because I won their putter in giveaway on this site. I do not want my reviews of SIK or their armlock to become the reviews of the SLDR C. (If you have been around awhile you get that joke.) I'll link my review from the SIK armlock. I will say from the technology stand point it does something for my consistency. Odyssey inserts feel nice but I never felt like they helped. I have not used an Evnroll or LAB Direct force that have claims of great tech in their putters. I will say that the ball has a consistent roll off the face. It is not a magic wand but I will admit the putter is very forgiving. I say forgiving because if I hit it off center I do not feel like I am punished like I was with other putters. Distance is consistent whether I hit toe side or heel side. The cool thing is when I make center contact you can see the ball have the tight end over end roll which does not skip/jump off the face. You can find my initial review below.

I have a Sik Pro Tour Proto which I got not long ago, I don't know how much it differs from a retail version, the face is fully covered in the DLT face vs just the center like retail or more recent versions. The tech on these is the DLT face which is various loft from 4° up top to 1° at the bottom and a radial face, this is all to get he ball rolling end over end as soon as possible. So it's not like the Evnroll face which is for miss hits think of it like a solid milled version of what the Spider insert or really any other insert are trying to do getting the ball going end over end as soon as possible.

Feel wise it's a milled putter, because of the milling it will give a muted sound so feels mid to soft, in my testing it gets the ball going end over end. Aesthetics wise I like the look and size at address, I've yet to game this or roll this on grass but I'm going to reshaft and spec it to me then giving it a chance to get into the rotation.

my son was fitted for a SIK putter at their studio at Orange County National 1.5 years ago. Greg was an AWESOME fitter! Their putter is beautiful and has been very durable. The head cover & grips are top shelf. It had a degree added and was 30g heavier than his other putter. It has great feel and the technology seemed to help him on lag putts

I got fitted at club champion in Milwaukee .

It was a great process and learned quite a bit.

I was fit for a toe hang putter and plumbers  neck mallet style.

 Tried Odyssey, See more, LAB, TM, Cobra, but went with the SIK.

Great roll and I could line it up pretty well . The LAB was great with the amount of putts I made but I struggled lining it up

After learning more about the SIK putter DLT tech from the fitter Eric, I tried to make the ball skip or bounce hitting down excessively or up severely and couldn't do it.  I do think the tech helps quite a bit with stroke inconsistencies in delivering loft.

Sound and feel are very good and very classic looking shapes. Looking forward to getting it - fitted to 36.5 shaft and 73 upright 3 degree loft. I am on the taller side at 6-6 and most of the height is in the legs.
