Comparing PXG gen 3 irons to Titleist Cncpt irons

I’m trying to find some reviews comparing Titleist Cncpt irons to the PXG gen 3 irons. Any forum members compared the two sets?

I compared the two sets in September 2020. PXGs, while fine, did not give me an appreciable difference vs my gamers at that time (MP-69, stock lie/length, 37” @ 7i, KBS C-taper 130)

the CNCPT02 gave me a noticeable 10 yards in carry length. Higher ball flight as well. Definitely harder to flight down but manageable. Solid strikes have a “snap” sound - different, but I have grown to like it. Feel is adequate but not as smooth as MP69 - I can still sense off center strikes. The extra distance allows me to play 3/4 shots to the same carry distances as my old set, and it’s nice to have that extra reserve distance just in case

CP01 was a beast for distance and height but I could not flight the ball down at all - dealbreaker given I play in wind a lot.

I ended up with 5i-gap wedge in Cncpt 02 (same shafts as before) but have to readjust wedges - too much gap now between CNCPt gap to my previous gap wedge (Vokey SM7 @ 51’). Waiting to replace my wedges this winter anyway but take note you will have to adjust the bottom end of your bag

love the CNCPT02 set and now also looking at CnCpt 01 (although now it’s CNCPt03) for a 4i
