How much more spin from 1 degree more of loft

I believe a general rule of thumb is 300 rpm per 1° of loft.

With 170 ball speed, there is NO NEED for more spin than 1700.....but the question was the change....and at your club speed level, "all else equal", about 300 rpm. (208 from 80 mph club speed and 289 at 110 mph). This is how FLIGHTSCOPEs algorithm looks like from 165 mph ball speed, and yours is 5 mph higher.

ONLY if your launch is below 12, the higher spin rates will add carry, above 12* both carry and total goes down. GREEN fields is max carry combo for the actual launch angle.

A snap hook is a face to path problem, no amount of loft (or back spin) is going to make any difference for that type of a swing issue. Depending on the particular swing flaw, playing length, shaft weight, swing weight, grip size, face angle, and maybe even shaft stiffness in some more rare cases might be used to help mitigate them a little bit but not loft. The only valid consideration for loft on the driver is to optimize distance for your particular swing (ball speed and launch angle). And that's the base head loft, hosel adjustments for loft will typically be more useful for controlling face angle for those with any sensitivity to it.

Sounds like a statement form a sales rep since club speed is a input parameter for Spin...this small chart is based on Trackmans numbers, but its all "Robot numbers" = exact same impact and club delivery, and ONLY for DRIVERS, so we are way over and beyond club speed for GOLF.

Spin follow club speed, so if we add 10% club speed, we add 10% spin, and since 0.75* and 300 is the same as 1* and 400.....we talk 154 mph club speed. before that factor is valid.

Was told by TM 2,100 is the line for control. Lower you start losing control and become knuckle balls. Yes OP, more spin will help you control/hit the ball better/straighter.

While this is all 100% true, I would say at a certain spin number those flaws can make that miss nearly unplayable, ie the super low spin ball that just falls out of the air and screams left. This could be purely swing related or could be your total spin is so low, when you get one high toe it comes off knuckling left. So adding spin (via loft or whatever) can help stabilize the flight and make the miss not as extreme.

Golf 64 and Krt22 you answered what I wanted to hear. I know there is validity in having too low of spin. The miss is left for me so if my spin is too low I do not want a snap hook and if increasing the spin can help somewhat I will go with that. Not saying the swing cannot be better. I know what swing flaws cause the hook.
