Caddy said the numbers written in marker on the backs of the irons are the yardage he hits each club, in yards, not meters.
I've heard of him playing 2 different U (gap) wedges before but this bag shows 3 (yardages of 125, 118, 109). Actually it shows 2 different PW's (132 & 140) too. I'm guessing he changes things up based on whether he wants an 1 or 2 gap wedges in the bag.
He also had another wedge that he was practicing with and I didn't get to shoot it. I'll try to get it tomorrow.
I think most of the British players still use yardages in Europe, it's just the Europeans that use meters and they can switch pretty quickly.
Based on his caddy yardage markings on the irons it's nice to see not all tour pros are hitting their 8 irons 225 yards😢
No, it’s just tour pros at altitude and WRX’ers who do that.
I like this. It's true. I'm replacing my driver with a 5 iron this season. Yardage about the same. I wish 😢
I know in the past he's used one of Ping's iron shafts, perhaps ZZ65?
Still using the JZ I believe.
JZ Stiff - Step Stiff.
I believe it's mentioned in his WITB when he won earlier this year.
Putter cover says PLD and turns out to be a Fetch.
Talk about being a tease.
gotta be one of the ugliest putters ping has ever made

i love westwood.
A shame he never won a major. If he could putt he would 2-3
so is he not in any of the glide wedge offerings?? He just takes a pitch and gap and bends them as needed? If so, that’s pretty unique.
What versions of the NV are those? I love the chrome look (not sure if they're chrome or its just the angle/lighting).
Always loved Westwood, always rooting for him.
He has a Ping Glide Forged Lob Wedge (60*).
Great idea with clubs to put carry yardage on them! So simple. I've heard a bunch of pros doing this with tape below the grip on wedges too. For example: " 40, 75, 110 " will be there club shaft to 9' o'clock, club straight in the air, and full swing yardages for say a 56. Then do it with a 52 too: 45, 82, 120 for 52 ect.
I'm going to put in the time to do this for the upcoming season
They are the 15th anniversary NV Green with an Ion plating. Same shaft with an updated finish.
Just noticed the 2nd G410 has "low spin" written in sharpie on it. I wonder if that means it's been hot melted to perform more like a LST head?
I'm digging those too!
Interesting. Hadn't seen them beforehand.
Given that there are two drivers, i'd guess you're right. Likely hot melt low and forward, or maybe just a head that spec'd lower in loft.
