Previously before 2020 and the new WH system was adopted -- T Scores - 2 lowest were held for a year for the purpose of possibly imposing a reduction in Handicap due to exceptional score(s). Now with the new system as I understand it - it uses the current handicap and if one scores 7 strokes below that - one could possibly have a reduction of 1 or 2 strokes. If that is the case -- It seems T or A or H scores no longer mean anything..

Anyone have any comment or info on this ??? thanks in advance.

Don't think A or H meant anything before other than as possible flags.

T scores were somewhat meaningless in practice as well due to the fact anyone could post a round as a T round or clu s calling rounds T rounds that weren't

So I think you are agreeing - T Scores no longer mean anything in 2020 Handicap system going forward.

There is no specific calculation made involving Competition scores (denoted as C scores). However, the notation helps the Handicap Committee to evaluate a player's relative performance at home vs away, or Competition vs. non-competition.

Home is Reston, Virgina, with regular visits to Southern Pines, NC

thanks -- and correct on use of C Scores -- I used T scores label for the discussion since that term was what used to be used. Cheers!
