Carbon Ringo GSS

And does anyone know off-hand if Carbon will mill a flange line into a putter at order?

I sent two emails weeks apart to their 'shop' email address with no reply, commented on a post on Instagram (they commented back saying to email them), and I've hit up their Instagram DM all to ask about ordering a putter and still no reply. Unfortunately I've moved on from wanting to buy a putter from them. Other than that, I've heard they make great putters. Good Luck.

Have you tried calling Carbon or Putter Lounge (same company)??? The Kurtenbach's are tremendous people. I know that they are busy with new models coming out.

Looks pretty nice. Would be cool if they offered different face milling options, too.

I bought a Ringo 1/4 from them and, while communication was ... painfully slow, the product is outstanding. My guess is they don't (yet?) have anyone dedicated full time to answering emails and other queries, and they are busy building putters. If you can stand a little frustration with poor communication, you will eventually end up with an excellent putter -- as good as or better than anything out there.

I'm sure they are great people especially with Putter Lounge years back for my Golo, they were pleasant to deal with. But from a business side, it can certainly take a hit if they don't have someone full-time handling the queues (like 20six mentioned above). Emailing directly can be tough because for some reason an email can be automatically dumped into the SPAM folder and lost and who knows how many other random emails are in the inbox. Maybe a platform through their site designed for questions, quotes, rework should be established rather than direct email.

But I'm still curious on trying the product. I've heard nothing by great things.

This particular shape looks so clean and as close to the Tiger shape without spending lots of $$$$$.

Save your money. I had their 1/4 Carbon Ringo when it first came out. It was a nightmare to get the order correct and the person who was handling the order was their mother and she basically cancelled my order and then only resumed the order when I threatened to get all my money back with my credit card company. Customer service was atrocious.

Get with Lamont Mann with MannKrafted. You can talk directly to the guy who is hand milling your new custom putter. I have two of his and they are fantastic!!

Dang, don't like hearing that, I like a number of their models and available price points and sent them an email yesterday, hope I hear back sooner than some here.

I'd go totally custom but it gets so expensive and it takes a very long time. I love the idea of partially custom and more readily available.

I just sent them a message on their facebook page and they answered me within 30 minutes.

Ended up buying the GSS 330g model, arrived this week. Feels and looks awesome, hoping to get on the course soon!

Follow up, took to the course yesterday and played 18. This putter feels amazing, very solid, but softer than expected for a smooth face. Looks great, closest to the Rickie and Tiger shape that I’ve seen at retail. It’s a keeper!

I know I'm reviving an old thread, but didn't feel a new one needed to be created so figured I'd post this in here.

If anyone has seen the new black edition Ringo, does anyone think they completely nailed the Anser 2 trisole shape?  To my eye, it's just about perfect...if I want to be super picky all I'd want to add is a more softening on the bumpers, flange and neck...and of course I'd need the weight bumped up to 360-365 which I'm sure they're more than capable of doing.  But I think, at least to me, this is perfect...definitely up there with the Betti BB8c/tri and Scotty SS lines.

Anyone else pick up one of these? I'm kicking myself for not grabbing one when I first saw them in stock. I haven't found another Anser 2/Newport 2 style putter that looks as nice as this does at address.

When they had their Black Friday sale it was 30% off putters, I was messaging them if any options had LH in stock or if they were milling any since the LH are milled to order. Got nothing back, was kinda ready to drop some cash on a flow neck Ringo. Got nothing so they get nothing from me.

They’re about 15 minutes from me.  I’ve had my eye on a Holliday for some time.  Going to have them do a refinish in their fuel finish on a Newport 2.6 for me next spring hopefully. 

They made me a Holliday Flowneck GSS a few years bag absolutely love it!!

Is that a wide body? looks a big bigger than usual?

No its a regular one. The blade length on these are nice more compact than a Newport 2

Probably the angle that made it look bigger but they're nice putters. Just wish they answered some emails when they have sales going on. I want one but won't pay full price when they have sales every so often.

I had a similar experience. I spoke with them by phone the day before Thanksgiving. She said if I had any other questions they'd be available on Friday. I had a couple more questions before I was willing to pull the trigger and pay them hundreds of dollars; I called them back several times and left a message to call me back but had no luck getting in touch with them again, all the way through until the sale expired

Customer service definitely isn't something they've ever been good at and apparently it used to be worse. I like the product and options they have especially for lefties it's just annoying trying to do anything.

I asked them if they would be releasing the Ringo GSS heads in the future and got very prompt email responses. It was a resounding "no but you can buy a carbon (material) Ringo". The headshapes are completely different...but I at least got a quick reply...it just wasn't what I wanted to hear 🙃
