Aldila tour green v fuji atmos tour spec blue 6s

Currently have the tour green and like it a lot. Have a chance to pick up a fuji atmos 6s for a decent price. Looking the specs, they are really similar. Id be putting it into a ts3 10.5. Any thoughts on this comparison?

The wandering eye always leads to heartache. If you like the green, stay with it. Unless you are looking for a weight change, the small difference in bend profile between these two won't change much.

Weight change is minimal. Both are around 60g. I guess the ho in me (plus poor play sunday and crappy weather) is making my eye wander...ugh...lol. i just didnt know if there was enough of a difference to entertain a change.

I will probably get my GolfWRX membership revoked, but those Aldila Tour shafts are still great shafts at 6 or 7 years old and I don't know that there is anything better out there. Good feel, good radial consistency, good performance. Again unless you were looking at changing weights or have a blue driver head that clashes with the green, I vote keep it.

Agree. Older mid and heavy weight shafts don't become obsolete. The newer models just add new options to choose from, they never really replace the older models. I liked the Tour blue and still have one in one of my fairways, the only thing that kept me from loving it completely was the higher balance point.

I guess it the ho in me to look at new stuff. We've have enough good weather to play, but not enough to get the game back into shape. I just got the ts3 head in December so it really hasnt had a decent trial period...I just kinda like that white shaft with the blue bubbles. LOL

Crazy! I’ve been messing around with the exact same two shafts in my G400 Max. So far, the Atmos Blue TS is my gamer. It feels just a tad softer than the Tour Green but with less torque. Atmos a little smoother more like the Xtorsion Copper. Just feels like I hit less drastic pushes/blocks with the Atmos so it’s staying for now. The Xtorsion Copper was good in terms of distance but was prone to huge hooks. And Tour Green felt stouter that both. FYI, my shaft progression went from Copper, Tour Blue, Tour Green, to Atmos Blue TS.

However, I could equally game the Tour Green again though. Keep experimenting, cause there isn’t much difference in both shafts but if one performs better than the other then you’ll be picking up a huge windfall without sacrificing anything else it terms of performance. Also, I got my Atmos Blue TS for dirt cheap cause it was the one with Cobra color scheme. Those are being liquidated for cheap now! So why not experiment, nothing to lose but everything to gain.

I just picked up a tour spec ATMOS 6s and it's now my main shaft. Pushed the Fuji pro 2.0 and diamana BF out of the bag for now. The dispersion and feel are great.

That is the real shaft, it just so happens cobra used it or a year in the f9.

if you go to the Fuji website it’s the same shaft graphics pictured.

i bought one from pro clubs a few weeks ago and it’s legit the real deal shaft. It’s my gamer now.

Yep, it's the same with different graphics. You can even see the black and blue color scheme in the Fujikura website - https://fujikuragolf.com/woods/atmos-tour-spec

Just make sure the shaft says "Tour Spec" on it, as there's a non-Tour Spec version that's a made for shaft in Mizuno ST190 drivers. The non-Tour Spec version is generally a 5s version though, and not in 6s. Last I checked, Pro Clubs ran out of the 6s Tour Spec in black and blue but have plenty of 6r and 7s Tour Specs still left in that color.

For me it was like Goldilocks and the 3 Bears, Aldila XTorsion Copper 60s was too hot, Aldila Tour Green ATX 65s was too cold, but Atmos Blue Tour Spec 6s was just right. So anyone that likes the feel of these shafts but may load the Copper to aggressively should look into Tour Green or Atmos Blue TS. With Tour Green being able to handle a more aggressive transition than Atmos Blue TS....I think. FYI - I'm swinging 98-102mph with an aggressive transition, late-ish release. Main fault is hip slide causing me to get dumped under, pushes and duck hooks are the misses.

Im rather aggressive through transition, misses are dead pulls or heely blocks.

Maybe ill give it a season and come back ton this in june
