Have a chance to purchase one. Says 1 of 500 on bottoms long with the normal sole stamping. Were these ever produced on a limited run?? One I have chance to get is in new condition. Thanks for any insight.

I’m not the most informed person out there but I’ll take a stab at this one. These are worth a little more than one that is not first of 500. The value is also going to depend on the length/head weight. The heavier heads command a little premium as the grams go up. I’d guess It’s gonna be worth $200-$350 depending on weight.

Normally it just the first run of putters even if the production is 2 or 3 years. The putter is worth what you think it is. I have a Circa 62 Sales Sample that I think were only a run of 100, but on this Circa it doesn't add any more value. If yours says 1 of 500, it's likely the 2005 run vs 2007.

Someone with more knowledge will be along shortly with more info and ballpark price. I'm horrible at values.

Thanks for passing your info along. I’d looked at the archive on Scotty’s web and saw it was produced a couple different years. You’ve helped me with your info. Thanks again.

years ago the 1st/500 were heavily collected. I don't think that's the case on them anymore. They don't bring more value to me.

I’d say any mint studio style putter with origibal grip, shaft band and headcover (tool is an extra bonus), you’d be in the $350 range. Because they are obviously 15ish years old, they are hard to find in like new, or mint condition.

the 1st of 500 is cool, but don’t think it adds much value.

Thanks. This one is mint with plastic still on grip. I figured the $599 asking price was too steep, even in mint condition.
