I'd like to think, with a name like Icon, the would be based on elements of Hogan's own irons over his career.

I am thinking they are a refresh of the Ft. Worth irons. The PTx got updated last year so that makes sense. I played a set of the OG PTx and loved them. They are still lurking in the closet.

Looks like the model they should have brought out originally when the brand returned a few years ago. I didn't think it would survive without the nostalgia factor but obviously I was wrong. Good on them for it.

Thinking the 4-7 have tungsten. If so, they'll likely be really good.

I put a mp20 hmb 4i in the bag recently and it is absolutely phenomenal.

Pretty sweet looking. Reminds me of the 99 apex. Should have looked like this with the first release after the rebirth.

With all the muscle layering reminds me more of the 50th Anniversary irons. A lotta lines. I have a set of the 99's which are a cleaner look (in the bag). But as always, gotta see what it looks like behind a ball.

I'm suspicious they're possibly hollow as well like mentioned above.

Exactly. These irons are the perfect essence of the classic hogan apex blades. Too bad it was the wedge guy that launched the brand and thought he new better than everyone else.

i called them to get a pw fort worth 15...very unhelpful..but i was told they have a new iron coming out. This doesn't look like a blade but it might be?

I don’t know. I’m not a TK fan, but (for me) his clubs have always performed. I don’t think a nostalgic brand needs to stick with classic designs. If he genuinely thought he had better ideas on how to make irons I can’t fault the guy. Some old Hogan designs were pretty radical.

but he did probably take a hit in the marketplace for not keeping with classic Hogan aesthetics.

If they are new blades I hope they release new ft worth HIs with them to match or make a new equalizer. Big fan of their stuff but their slower staggered releases are a little annoying. I know they are working to overhaul their lines to make them more cohesive in the looks dept so would be welcomed.

I know this is probably an anti Hogan thought, but I wish they would build a GI set with more modern lofts. They don't have to be way jacked up, but like the G410s or Hot Metals, or even T200s.

Think that exits in the edge, only slight difference is the slightly weaker lofts compared to the g410's and hot metals

Fingers crossed that it's forged from a single billet with no multi-metal, hollow foam filled components. Maybe they could even make a 3 iron. I really like what they've done with the look here and with the PTX Pro.

I haven’t seen them but I know they are not hollow and they are a forged true blade.
