ANY TITLEIST CNCPT OR C16 IRON OWNERS?

After returning a set of PXG GEN3 Players model clubs, I'm in the market again. Does anyone own or have good insights to Titleist CNCPT or C-16 irons?

Any other suggestions would be very helpful. The charecteristics I am looking for would be a smallish club head, helpful offset, forgiving, and good distance.

I am around a 10-12 handicap with a 145 yard carry with a 7 iron. I only use graphite shafts. My ball flight is semi-high. Any input will be appreciated

If you were picking up C16 irons these would have to be second hand as they are no longer available to purchase as new from Titleist. They were a legit set though. Looked fantastic from address and just seemed to have that bit more pop about them than the regular irons which were available.

I have a set of the original C16. They look great, perfect size, great shape, forgiving and long. I actually had the loft weakened 2* on my set

I've owned both C16 & PXG's. PXG's were by far the better set.

Have owned C-16s with R flex graphite shafts (Kuro Kage stock) since they were released. My shop strengthened the loft one full club, since I already hit my irons really high. , and short. 140 yard #7 iron. I love them & am still playing them. High tech! Highly recommend them. Bootheel Bear

Have the C-16 in the 4i. It's automatic, I can hit this thing blindfolded....best purchase I ever made. Launches easy and is crazy forgiving.

I would have to agree with this whole heartedly. Plus the PXG's feel so much better. Very firm, click, loud sound out the the Titleists. Not debating how fast either is, both are fast.

have you looked at Hot Metal or Hot Metal Pro's?

You can find C16's on eBay. Just make sure the seller is reputable. I play the AP2 718's but wanted a bit more forgiveness in the longer irons for tighter courses. Found a smoking deal on individual C16- 4, 5, & 6 irons. Shafted them with the same AMT Whites I play in the AP2's, and they are awesome. I only put them in the bag for certain courses, but I could easily play them every day. The C16's are super forgiving. Even with the AMT's in them, they still launch mid-high, and land soft.

They are a bit longer than other irons I've hit, so I play the 6 iron the same length as my AP2 7 iron. Give me a nice 13-15 yard gap.
