Wait.... Did betti just take his old putter and basically stamp their name on it? Is Yes! Getting anything out of this?
Wow. This thread will have some comments in it.
*comment meant to be sarcastic
It's the YES Versa model.
"Copied in the U.S.A."
Do Yes! putters still exist? Maybe the patent they held has expired?

that's not a collab it's a copy. yes! doesn't exist anymore as far as i know so it's simply a way for betti to up their weekly putter count on the Darrell survey
No they do not exist and the patent has expired from what I’ve been told (though not by anyone at Bettinardi)
At first, I thought title was wrong. Oh well, I guess if Yes! does not exist anymore ... Copy away?
Wow, Bettinardi straight in after the patent with C grooves....nice putter tho'.
Wondering why he didn't just go with the FIT Face milling?
TaylorMade own yes through the Adams acquisition. Guessing the patent has run out. Goosen won his US Open back in 2001, and they weren't a new brand then.
Also Jim Furyk won his FedEx using a Yes! that he found in a pawn shop.
Taylormade held the patent last but it ran out about 5 years ago.
Or it's a way for a player to get a feel he's familiar with and not have to search eBay for days, weeks, months to find a putter that hasn't been produced in like 5+ years that isn't beat to all ****.
Yes! it is not attractive. Not a fan of the big fat topline. Maybe Bettinardi will call those B-groves now 😁
RIP my Yes! Tracy. I loved the way they rolled. The weighting didn't feel that great for my OFTR version but I would totally game this.

Interesting. I was talking with someone just this week about the Yes! C Groove patent. I wasn't sure of the situation with it so thanks for clarifying.
I'm a big fan of their putters so this is a very interesting collaboration.
Bettinardi C Groove coming soon LOLOLOL , bizarre stuff man. Literally a direct copy.

Is it that bizarre? If this was a mass produced model maybe, but a one-off custom? Clearly MF couldn't find a replacement for his current Yes! in decent condition, so he had a well respected manufacturer make one for him. It makes a lot of sense.
having them make a putter makes sense! I just think it's weird they didn't just try and put him in a marketable milling pattern they already have. That said 99% of the golfing public isn't aware of Yes! or how nice the sticks USED to be, so it'll just be another one off Betti. So bizarre was the wrong word here haha.
Whoever posted the face picture first knew EXACTLY what they were doing, haha. I think I had the same reaction as everyone else.
I believe he had his Yes restored, and tested some other Bettis last year. So those don't seem to be making the cut
I wouldn't expect any sort of release
I honestly think its super awesome as long as there are no patent issues

Would love to see Bettinardi make a Yes! Sophia putter. I switch between my Sophia and QB6 when i want a different look.
The Bettinardi PGA Tour Rep has been working with Matt for a long time and a number of great looking putters with their various face milling. This is what it took to get him into one of their putters.
