lets start a roll call on who is open still

MidSouth and Talamore in Southern Pines, NC, and Stoneleigh GC in Round Hill, VA, all still open.

Beechwood Golf here in Thorold was open played 18 Saturday morning, then played 9 yesterday aft at Queenston golf club, but once I got home they had posted on FB saying they were going to be closed until further notice. So that would include St. Davids as well as they are sister 9s basically accross the street from each other. Beechwood still open from what I can tell. Those are the only 3 courses here that have opened early here.

As far as I know ALL courses in New Jersey & the surrounding area are open.

Also glad we successfully held the API - looks like many courses will not be seeing profits from PGA events this Spring that they planned on.

Columbus (Ohio) Municipal golf courses are closed; AFAIK all other courses in Central Ohio are open.

Mine and some others in the Philadelphia suburbs are completely closed.

Most are open in Cincinnati Area..

My course is closed till mid April but that was their planned opening anyways.

It sucks. I just cancelled my golf trip for next week. I was thinking, at least its mild and maybe the course will open early this year. Could have been out this weekend. Last year it didn't officially open till almost May!. Usually they don't open but still let people play to temporary pins. This is the first year in years with a mild spring and they decide to stay closed. Boooo! First world problems.

In SOCA all the courses around us are open. What's closing by "request" of the Governor are bars, winery's and concert/sport venues and some restaurants.

Chicago Park District courses are still open - once today's snow passes through ! Played on Friday with several guys from our golf league - course was in far better shape than my swing.

I was just notified that the 4 courses in our County in Central New Jersey are closed for at least 2 weeks. This is Mercer County.

Snow has come, gone and come back a couple of times. Just when it looks like spring is really here we get a little blast of the white stuff. Supposed to be in upper 40s next few days so might get back out for another round toward end of the week.

Park district courses in the western suburbs of Chicago are closed or closing.

Both of the private clubs I play at are still open. Far west side of Houston.

For now. Three in the area are now closed until further notice.

From across the pond: Switzerland just a couple hours ago got a governmental ruling to shut down all sporting facilities (along with bars, clubs, restaurants etc.) until April 19, for now. Be prepared, it will come to you I’m sure now. Only way to prevent spreading is “social distancing”...I like playing alone anyways but I’m afraid this doesn’t count ?

Awkward ruling up until today for Switzerland: max. 99 people on any course at a time. They put up whiteboards to keep track of how many people are on the premises...

I also played a great round yesterday at a course in nearby Germany and they closed the borders this morning. Frightening.

Hoping my range is still accessible. Will find out tomorrow.

I’m more afraid of what taking away sports and leisure activities will do to our sanity than the virus will do to our health! Half joking...

Bay Area going in lockdown tomorrow with an in shelter order. The exceptions though make you wonder, can you golf? Allowed: outdoor exercise and walks as long as you maintain 6 ft distance from "strangers"...huh?

Yeah grey area for sure. Especially if the course says ok to golf if you walk only. If you book online and/or are a club member, no need to even talk to anyone in close proximity

All courses around me (North Oxfordshire, South Northants, UK) appear to be open. The two I'm a member of have sent out emails saying they intend to remain open as long as possible but the clubhouse and facilities may have to be closed. Personally I think the only justification for closing a course would be if there were insufficient staff to maintain it. Playing golf has to be a very low risk activity, especially in the UK where buggies are uncommon. Leave the flag in, and don't shake hands when you're done and don't stand too close to each other. Risk of infection practically zero.

TPC Harding in San Francisco closed at least until 4/7 due to corona virus. I bet at least all other public courses also.

Everything here in far south TX is currently open.

Got an email today that my course in mid-Maryland is staying open. The restaurant is carry out only, however.

Went to Aguila in Phoenix yesterday to hit balls - open and PACKED! Papago also tweeted out the same - 250+ rounds both days this weekend.

Union County closed all courses today.

All Mercer County courses closing effective March 17th.

Three more coursed just closed in my area.

At this point, just a matter of time before all others will follow suit.

Rochester, NY area. At my club the golf course is opening today, but the clubhouse is closed. We won't get a lot of play yet anyways, still a little chilly for most folks. My wife and I did go over and walk 5 holes on Saturday. Temps were in the low 30's.

What made me laugh is one of the other members at my club, an older gentleman in his 70's texted me yesterday and asked if I was coming over for drinks on Men's night (Wednesday). Between him and my father in law, I get the impression that some of these older guys are not taking this very seriously.

I am in Houston and all open from what I can tell...
