Shoes sizing question

I wear a 9.5 in all my Nike golf shoes and was wanting to buy the footjoy pro sl carbon. Do they run about the same or do most people have to size down in footjoy’s?

And to add I don’t have anywhere to try them on

Obviously the best thing is actually try on the shoe you want. Otherwise order online and try them on when they arrive making sure not to wear them outside in case they need to be returned. For more than 20 years I've only worn Footjoy brand so I feel confident ordering online. They are consistent in sizing in my experience so when a new model arrives I still wear the same size. I've found them to run 1/2 size larger than many other brands. I typically wear a 13 in most shoes or a 12.5 wide if offered. I can wear a standard 12.5 in FJ's or 12 wides.

I wear a 10 in Nikes comfortably but always go 1/2 a size down in Footjoy.

For me:

FJ and adidas = same size

Nike = 1/2 size larger

my experience with shoe sizing

Nike golf shoes 12

Footjoy golf shoes 11.5

Adidas golf shoes 11.5

I agree with the other comments; I go a 1/2 smaller and wide in FJ.

I am 11.5 in Adidas and 12 in Nike. All my Footjoys (lots of pairs) are 11 and even feel like I could go smaller in some of the Icons.
