With the popularity of the 60's, 70's , and 80's songs threads ( here on the 19th hole) I got to thinking why not try this.

Post three of your favorite songs from the year you graduated High School.

So many of us have some extra idle time these days and might want to participate in this. I expect we have a vast range of ages here on the greatest golf forum available, and the songs picks will definitely show this!

So first throw up the year you graduated and then your song selections. Let's have a little fun.

bravo to the Ozark Mt. Daredevils and Jackie Blue. That song was enormous in St. Louis during my H.S. days.

stryper those selections were excellent. Couldn't " Year of the Cat " could be certainly considered for top 10 songs of the entire decade? I'd vote it there.

Quite right!!! I was hurrying to get stuff packed for a short business trip to the PNW (Pacific NorthWest) to a customer to fix their robot issue. Thanks for the link. I have tickets to see Journey with The Pretenders opening in early June. Something tells me the concert will be postponed.

1980 Too much Disco for me, but here's 3 I can think of that I liked. In no particular order

i was pretty heavy into rap/hip hop at the time

I Got 5 On It - Luniz One More Chance - Notorious BIGShimmy Shimmy Ya - ODBthese are just the ones that popped up in my head and I know I’m missing a bunch of good ones. Definitely have a soft spot for The Luniz song, especially the remix since it featured so many Bay Area artists
