Weirdest club you’ve used. No one has mine.

I thought this would be fun. What’s the weirdest/ugliest/most unique club you’ve used for a season or so?

Mine is the attached promotional Sony Putter. I told you no one has mine. LoL

When I was a Junior in high school I broke my putter over my knee on the 18th hole after my 4th three putt. We only played 9 holes per match BTW. 4 Three putts in 9 holes. Ouch!

So, I finished the season with this putter that my dad got from my uncle who works for Sony. I actually did pretty well with it. It looked less beat up when I used it.

LoL It has 20 years of age on it since then.

I never ever used anything remotely as weird as that. But there was a kid when I was in high school and played on one of the teams that putted with no joke a hot dog shaped putter with Oscar Meyer logo. Looked literally like a hot dog on the end of the shaft. His Dad was one of the wheels in the South for the Oscar Meyer company. He could putt with it but that was all he could do. LOL he was one of the guys that you would need on a scramble team just sit on the cart until it is time to putt

Owned a funeral home and ended up with one of these. The one I had was the heaviest club I have ever held. Couldn’t putt worth a lick with it. Gave it to my Dad for his 80th birthday and after he died one of his second wife’s sons got it instead of me.

it is not as unique as your Sony putter. Congrats. I am happy you got yours back.

I've seen pictures of those Oscar Meyer hot dog putters on here before. I wonder how many got made?

Some good ones, I thought my Wilson Ivex was weird. Darn thing worked though.

My first set; purchased used for $80. Won a lot of matches and swag with these in the early 90s. Made you hit the small sweet spot.

Any one remember the Cleveland Vas 792’s. IMO really easy to hit and weird looking.

This one was not like that with the bun--- This one looked like you stuck the shaft in the weenie itself. I remember the guys on his team nicknamed him "Oscar Meyer". I remember the next year everyone asked where "Oscar " was. They said he went back up North.

Yes I played them for almost two years. Even though the offset was extreme I just opened the face a bit at address and truthfully they actually did not play that bad at all.

Yep he sure did, in fact he won a total of 7 times on the tour using the VAS 792's. I also think that the 792's were the first iron to use a shock-absorbing badge to assist with feel and sound which of course later became common place.

I think my old sparkplug putter from dad qualifys here! Haha, would have been hilarious to see that hot dog putter though!

Believe it or not I played with this club as my driver when I was on the hs golf team for about three years. The face was actually becoming concave and I believe helped to draw the ball. It eventually fell apart. It was a 2-wood. (Picture is from Internet, not actually my old club.)

The Power Pod was a thing in my area for a while. I hit one several times, did go dead left. I can't think of a way to describe the feel, but ..... different.

The company I work for has an off-site storage location and we keep an open top dumpster there that the community uses way more then we do. I just pulled a 3-pw set out of the vas 792's out on Tuesday not the pretty clubs out by any means but the set I found were in pretty good shape. Need re-gripped and someone took all the shaft labels off so know idea what flex they are but I will take them to the driving range and hit them!
