Starting a new, simple thread for my 14th year on WRX. This is my 12 club setup, housed in a 2020 Moonlite.

BIG FAN. I too carry 12 in a Moonlite. Do you like the newer Moonlite? I like the handle feature on the newer models.

A bag after my own heart. Lightweight bag, 12 sticks, simple and sweet. I'm still playing the i25's 3-pw and a couple of i20 woods and a ping Anser milled putter. I've tried newer and different brands but keep coming back to these. Hit'em straight.

A lot of good products in that time frame. I too have a hard time updating...I am still gaming the Taylormade Rocketbladez Tour 3-9 (came out around the same time as your i25's if I have my years correct). Do you have a WITB post?

Loved seeing this. I have been pondering going to 12 clubs and your set up is what I was thinking other than a 58 for the 56.

are you finding any issues with the hybrid gapping with the fairway or 5 iron or just choke down or adjust swing to 3/4 to handle?

I do a similar thing, I carry 10 all the time........In a small stick bag/sunday bag.......so light and so easy to walk 18, 36, and 54 all in a day.

I truly don't think you'd regret it. It's great for walking and has normal handles that a stand bag would have so it fits on a push cart or riding cart too. PLUS if you flirt with that 12 club range, minimal grip tangle at the bottom!

Really nice set makeup. I played 9 clubs for a season and really enjoyed carrying a lighter bag, but I always knew a few of those in-between should have been better. I currently play 13 and use a push cart, but I'm going to design my next bag to be 11 or 12 clubs. I think that's the sweet spot for the trade-off between scoring and a ease of walking.

I'm pretty sure I'll be sticking with twelve for the rest of the season. I keep an Eye 2 XG lob wedge in my truck for courses with bunkers that aren't in the best condition - but that's not too often.

The Mizuno's were solid clubs, but these Ping's hit me with nostalgia. The first set I bought were i3+ Blades and played them for 4-5 years. Pretty excited to get back to something similar. I love the new Moonlite. It's really durable, the 4-way divider keeps your sticks from tangling at the bottom, & the second strap detaches/attaches really easily. The only knock was the colorway options - kind of limited. I played a 52°/58° combination for a very long time. I watched a video late last year of all the things Rocco Mediate can do with just a 56 and after testing, I really liked it around the greens. The 'M' grind works really well for me.

There is definitely a gap between my 4 hybrid and 5 iron. I rarely had a yardage where I would hit my 4 iron, so I leaned towards that spot being more of a 3.5 iron. I don't choke up on the hybrid if I'm in between, but I'll hit a cut to take some distance off of it. I think you might be happy with a 23° if you're wanting to make sure your gap isn't too large.
