Swing Video - Arms Stuck Behind, Early Release, and more!

Didn't have time to get a DTL video, but I'm looking for some help. I've always struggled to keep my hips/torso from racing ahead of my arms/hands. I've recently been working really hard to get my hands in front of my rear leg at club parallel in the downswing and then release the club, but as much as it feels like I'm making progress - the video doesn't lie. That said, I am making better contact and producing better consistency with my irons than I have in a long time. But, anything longer than a 5i is really tough for me to strike - I top/thin everything just about. I fight pull hooks and my best shots are pretty much straight.

Your casting..losing the angle very quickly. Ill look for a mike malaska vid for you.

Your problems are all backswing related. Club goes flat and inside on the backswing. Late wrist set. That would all be evident on a DTL video. Club needs to go "up" and set much earlier.

Club should be at about 90 degrees here, and more vertical. Lots of threads here on the topics of club going inside on backswing and late wrist set.
