Best feeling forged irons (blades or other)

I'm sure this topic has been discussed a million times but I would like to learn members opinions and experiences with their favorite forged irons. I have been hitting a lot of buckets the last two months with a "hand me down" set of Tour Stage X blades that are fully forged and feel great. I currently game the Titleist T200 irons which are nice and I like the forgiveness. Is there an iron out there with the incredible feel of an Endo forged or like product that offers some forgiveness? Thanks.

Hogan Apex from 1998 was a great club. Felt great and the trajectory was perfect.

I have an unhealthy obsession with my Nike vapor pro's lbs c taper. But I have also played a few Mizuno sets that are always buttery

I've been very impressed with the Srixon offerings which are Endo forged. The Z585 is probably the most comparable to the T200 in terms of forgiveness.

My Mizuno JPX 825 Pro's are sweet!

Love mine too! Just got fitted yesterday into the 919 Forged and they are even sweeter! Could have played the MMC 20 or 919 Forged but the 919 punished me slightly less on miss hits.

I have a set of MP-14s that I love. I don’t play with them often now but still like to take them out occasionally.

Miz JPX 919 Forged. When pured, it's like you didn't even hit a ball. You just kind of go "Wow..." The feedback on these clubs is amazing.

Nothing feels like a Mizuno...MP4s for me.

MacGregor MT Pro C from 2008 a very close second.

I hit a bunch of the latest offering forged blade/cb players irons recently at a golf shop. Srixon 7 series feel was hard to beat. This included Mizuno etc.

The best feeling forged irons I've ever played are the OnOffs Japanese Endo Forged irons, better feel then any Mizuno I've ever played or in fact better then any other forged iron I've played which have been numerous ..it's hard to describe the feeling but once you've hit one you'll know what I'm talking about ..just a great feeling iron !!

Callaway x forged 13's and Nike VR pro combos are the softest forging with some forgiveness I have ever hit.

yep, as people above stated the Endo forged Srixons are probably the best feeling hit irons! Kinda reminds you of a balata ball lol.

Depends on what you think feels best. My srixon z945 feels different than my mp18. Srixon really really soft where the mizuno is soft yet solid at the same time. I prefer the mizuno.

that being said I always heard about the mythical feeling of mizuno tn87 so found an affordable set in Japan and those are the best feeling ive hit without a doubt. Unfortunately the higher irons have a crazy offset which I hate looking at.

I have a set of Endo forged Yamaha Sutton Grinds that feel amazing paired with s400. The long irons are virtually unhittable, but 6 on down they are balls deep good. Every Tourstage iron I've hit has also been nice. The best for me is the MR23 - They've got the copper under layer. Of the Modern CBs, the 919 Forged was really electric. If I could only get a reduced offset, square toe version.

Special Mention to TN87 paired with Modus 120s. They feel great, just not quite the right shaft.

I love my 2018 Callaway Apex MB irons. A flushed ball just compresses and comes off the face with a wonderful feel. I’ve enjoyed hitting Mizuno MP18s and MP20s as well as Srixon z785s but don’t have any significant on course experience with them. There are many good forged clubs that will feel great when paired with the right shaft for your swing when you hit them in the middle. At the end of the day they are all bits of 1020 or 1025 carbon steel beaten into a similar shape and attached to a shaft.

Another vote for tour stage/Bridgestone. Very addictive feeling. Soft, yet crisp. Impact has a sticky feeling, which what I absolutely love. Mizuno can feel like nothing is there at impact, almost ghost like. I tend to prefer the soft and crisp feel.

Thinking my Stenson Legacy Blacks are the softest iron I have, most forgiving player style iron iv'e hit as well. I have tried pretty hard in the hoing department to unseat them from the top spot on my list but on top they remain. Think it's time for me to stop trying to dethrone them and just play them. Worthy mentions to Miura baby blades, Mizuno MP68’s and Srixon blades

I know there is a barrier to entry with them, up the PXG Gen 3 T irons feel amazing and have quite a bit of forgiveness. As far as true MB’s go, the ‘18 Apex MB’s are excellent and feel great out of the center of the face and, to me, they are quite forgiving for a true blade.

Mizuno offerings are always a safe bet. I played Cleveland CG Tour blades forever and loved them. Recently bought a set of Adams CMBs off of here and they are buttery.

Was a Mizuno fan for years (MP-59, MP-60 and still play the mythical MP-32 on occasion). But hit the Srixon 785's and was instantly converted. Both are soft, but the Srixon's are a bit more solid if that makes any sense.

Hard to go against miura. Today, they still forge some tour players irons.

Marketing says Mizuno....for me, its Titleist

I love my MP-54s (soft yet dense feel). But forged blades feel better.

My vote for best feel is the MP-4, by a hair over the MP-32 (my backup set) and MP-5. All feel just magical when you flush one.

I picked up a used MP-5 (a 4-iron with KBS Tour 130x) off the 'bay last month. Went to the range for the first time last weekend since Covid started. 2nd swing with the MP-5 was flush. I was almost in tears. Ahhhh thats good. :)

I'm no blade player but I do like to hit them on the simulator in stores. Have hit all of the major brands and the best feeling to me were Callaway Apex MBs. Wish I could play them they felt amazing.

Probably get a ton of hate on here for saying this but after hearing so much hype about "nothing feels like a Mizuno" I was super disappointed in the feel of the JPX 919 Tours. Played them for about 2-3 months and they were good but I just had such high expectations. going in.
