Caddytek or MG6000 rangefinder

I've been waiting for the Caddytek rangefinder top go on sale at Costco, but today saw the Mg600s that has the lock confirmation that the Caddytek lacks. Does anyone have experience with both or either that could help?

Friends have both and I have a mg600s. I prefer the mg600s. Yardages are all within one yard including Bushnells. The lock confirmation is nice and the screen is reason to go with the MG. Once you shoot the yardage it says on the external screen for a few minutes in case you want to look again.

I have the Caddytek, got it for $60 for refurbished unit. It works and has slope. Go with the cheapest, no stress in losing it on the course or leaving it behind in the cart.

Main difference is between a top of the line bushnell and the cheap models, are speed, instant vs half a second and might have to shoot the flag twice. For $400, I can wait half a sec and shoot twice....lol... and not have the stress of losing my $400 rangefinder. I guess I lost my bushnell before so I'm a bit bitter...haha

The two are pretty comparable in price. In fact, until the Caddtek goes on sale at Costco the MG is actually a hair cheaper (but paying shipping sucks). I've not seen the refurb option.

I got it on ebay, the refurb..... all the cheap ones are similar................the fancy stuff gets you more magnification too. I've never had trouble with my cheap rangefinder.

I highly recommend the Caddytek. The model I have has lock confirmation and it also has the Costco return policy to go with it. 

I'm interested in the Caddytek from Costco and was wondering if anyone knows what time of year these typically go on sale (if they still do). I don't really want to buy one and then see the price drop significantly, although I guess Costco will reimburse the difference if that happens within 30 days, but with my luck it will happen in 31 days!

I was in the same boat, but I was tired of using a GPS app on my phone so I just bought it. I considered it a win because it had good reviews, was considerably less expensive than bigger name models with similar functions, and now my phone stays in the bag lol.

The Caddytek V2 was listed on the Costco website a week ago, but it looks like it is no longer available. It also appears their pull carts are gone.

I have the MG  I like it. I lost the cover for the battery and MG sent me one free. So they do have some outstanding customer service
