New career low

Shot 66 from the middle tees (6400, 70/143) yesterday. Went 3 under on the back nine, which is MUCH harder than the front at my home track.....usually a good front 9 for me goes to die on the back. And this was after first 18 of 72 from the back tees (6900, 72.4/146) and many many beers.

I posted it and went from 1.4 to .4 overnight. And the cap from those tees went from 2 to 1, which I’m sure will bite me in the butt during one NET event or other this season.

Congrats......

I would have titled the thread "Career Best". Because you never know what someone means by career low. I was expecting a story about showing up to the golf course without pants, or knocking the cart girl unconscious with a wayward shot. Now that would be a career "LOW".

A 67 last season. My consistency has been much better so far this season. I’m pretty sure I’ve got more under par rounds this year than in the last decade combined.

Impressive. Nice job. Would love to shoot that some day. I think beers help if you keep it to a few. But once you get into that highly buzzed territory , it could get ugly. for your game.

The lettuce on the other hand, makes golf a lot harder.

143 slope is a tough track. Congrats!

I can only dream of breaking 70, but I’ll keep dreaming.

How‘d you do it? Putted lights out or just stuck every pin?

15/18 gir was a big part of it (had 3 bogeys, and they were on the 3 missed greens). Definitely putted better than my average, and dropped a few wedges in tight for tap ins.
