I've been using plastic PPT tees for a while. They've been pretty durable and I can last a full round with only a couple of tees but sometimes I find them harder to stick in the turf, especially if I'm trying to tee it down more than normal. I just purchased a bag of wooden tees and thought I would ask everyone else's opinion on tee preference.

I use the PPT tees as well. I bought a large bag and like you said they last forever so I don't think I will need tees for a while. My favorite tees are the ones I pick up at nicer clubs with the course logo on them. I don't think they are any better, I just think they look cool.

Been using stinger tees for as long as I can remember they hold up really well and are easy to get into the ground even when it is frozen in the winter.

I'll second the stinger tees as a great option.

During quarantine, I discovered Western Birch and ordered 400-500 various color profiles - they are really sleek and seem to be fairly durable!

I use the plastic ones with the little teeth at the top. The are pretty unbreakable unless you sheer off the head.

4 more yards have been my favourite since they came out. 8 or 10 years? Use yellow for driver and red for 3w. Then Epoch for hybrid/irons.

Update: First time using wooden tees and I broke one on every single tee box. Probably never buying wooden tees again.

Zero Friction 5 prong tees are my go to.

Another vote for Stinger tees. I use their 2 3/4" model.

I personally prefer wooden tees because they are biodegradable. Sure, plastic tees last a lot longer but how long does it take that plastic to break down, even after it gets ground up by the mower? I use wooden tees and I get the natural colored ones that arent painted. I cant stand the painted one partly because they leave a paint streak on my club sometimes and also because who knows what kind of lead-based, toxic paint they use.

I used to use the Epoch tees and they were great and lasted a long time but Im just not comfortable with the environmental issues with plastic tees.

I’ve consumed 3 in the last 4 years. 2 broke after many hits and I lost the third.

I pick up abandoned tees and have literally thousands in a few coffee cans on my golf shelf.

I’ll start the round with a Martini and another traditional tee in my pocket and usually pack away 5 or 6 tees at the end of the round.

I’ve converted many players to the Martini, last week 3 out of 4 in the group were using one.

As information, I’ve gained between 0 and 0 yards since the switch.

I couldn't agree more. I generally start a round with 3 or 4 wooden tee's in my pockets and rarely need to reach for any more.

Only natural color wood tees for me... because my club hands them out for free.

For several years I was using the Epoch plastic tees. However recently since my club furnishes free wooden tees (shorter and longer) I just started getting short tees out of the pro shop. I probably have 250 or more of the plastic tees but never use them now.

Just played with Martini Set Tee . I love the way it has the perfect height every time with the driver . Very durable.

Flex Head Tees for me. I used to go through 4-6 tees per round. Now I havent lost one of those in months.

Same here. I know I'm driving well when I can play an entire round without a broken tee.

Western birch, they don’t break and look amazing with different reference lines

Stinger. They don't leave white scuff marks some plastic tees do, and I prefer the small profile. I like natural wood tees.
