***ATTENTION***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***ATTENTION***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***ATTENTION

Last year, in an effort to improve the capability of our forums, we switched to new software. We expected tremendous scalability and rapid customization that would significantly improve each Member's experience across multiple devices and integrate flawlessly with social media platforms.

Unfortunately, after a significant capital expense, we have decided that the length of time and the additional cost to reach our goals make this enterprise untenable.

Thus, we have made the difficult decision to transition the forums to our original software platform. We’re excited that, in the nearly two years since we began the process of our most recent switch, our original platform has been upgraded significantly, and we are confident that the reversion will not only provide the stability that we desperately needed prior to our last move but will also return to the Membership the high level of customization that made our online community so great. We have also added technical resources to the GolfWRX staff that will allow us to build custom modules and modifications that we are confident will take the forums to the next level.

We remain the world's largest online golf community, and we still hold true to our core values and mission statement as written in 2005. Bearing both of those elements in mind, being the best and offering our Members a platform that is world-class are both requirements, not options, and it is that spirit that has motivated this decision.

So, please pardon our mess over the next five days or so while we transition the forums.

A few important notes: Current content will be accessible during that time, but the forums will be READ ONLY, and you will not be able to start new threads or reply to posts. Personal Messaging is enabled but PMs sent/received from the time the board was frozen will not carry over. We know this is inconvenient, and we apologize, and we greatly appreciate GolfWRXers bearing with us through the transition.

We are very excited about starting this next chapter for GolfWRX and getting back to the high-quality Member experience we all expect as soon as possible.

I thought this bag was horrible. For some reason, clubs struggled getting in and out of the bag. No idea why. The bag itself was nice but for this issue alone it now just sits in my garage. Was the strangest thing Ive ever encountered with a golf bag

I have this same bag and have had no issues at all.

Wonder if I just got a bad one. I loved the outside of the bag though.

wasn't that the bag that ****.com rated as best overall carry bag last year? i question a lot of their rankings/ratings most of the time.

That was the ULT which is great and smaller and lighter. Sort of a 2.5 compared to a CSX which is more like a 4.5. No issues with the CSX but would not carry it full time

I've had something similar happen once or twice but not a huge issue for me so far. I use ShotScope tags on my clubs, and I've had a couple clubs in the middle section of the 5-way that the tags got caught, presumably in the crease where the base bends for the stand mechanism. I've thought about dropping a plastic cutout down in there to cover the crease, but I need to investigate a little more to figure out exactly where the tags are getting hung up.

mine were getting stuck with just a few clubs in there. Was just strange. Love the looks of the bag too. Was very disappointed because looks and functionality of the pockets were great

I played around with it using a flashlight and it was 2 reasons. First, the "full length" dividers don't completely attach to the bottom, so in some places there is enough play for the grip of a club to catch on them. Second, the hinge for the stand mechanism is exposed and can cause things to get pinched or caught.

I dropped a couple old towels down into the slots and spread them around, and it seems like it'll fix my problem. I don't like the idea of having something down there that will hold water, so I may replace with something different eventually. I think something like a circular silicone pad (thinking of trying a pot holder) would probably do a pretty good job of separating the clubs from the hinge mechanism.

Good info. I couldnt really figure it out. May try that. Bought a different bag already though but this wont have any resale value with shipping cost so its just going to sit. May as well try and make it functional.

I bought this bag despite reading about the issues. Bag boy is sending me a new bag (not this one) already. I know this is a old thread, but this bag is still getting sold at low prices. It is not worth buying. The stand deploys poorly due to issues already stated, the legs are crooked, and it is near impossible to get clubs in and out. It does work OK as a cart/pushcart bag, but I would rather have more storage while on a cart or using a push cart.
