Hey Seniors, looking for an easy to hit hybrid?

I've been playing Callaway Mavrik 4h and just wondering if there is something easier to hit.

Have you ever looked into Callaways high lofted fairway woods? heavenwood, 7 wood, 9 wood. if you don't mind the longer shaft, definitely easier to get up in the air than a hybrid

I found the shaft makes all the difference in a hybrid - I like a high launch, mid spin shaft.

I use a Tensei CK Pro Red 70

Easiest launching hybrids I have ever seen are Cobra F-Max/T-Rails. A higher lofted fairway wood will be next in line.

The PXG Gen 2 Hybrids are stupid easy to hit. Played the Adams Pro A12 Hybrids for years before the Gen 2's came along.

Easy to hit, good distance, high launch try XXIO X Hybrids.

I have an Epic Flash 11-wood (25º). I never had much luck with hybrids. The 11 goes nice and high, and I get good distance.

I just purchased a Sub70 hybrid actually for my wife. She plays mens clubs so I took the hybrid out this weekend and thing is really easy to hit and nice high soft landing ball flight. I'd recommend checking them out. I'm going to buy another one for myself and toss the 5 iron and use the hybrid, just easier to hit and better ball flight.

Agree with David D I have XXIO X 2020 model in 4H & 5H. Fast, high, long and sounds great.

PING G-410 Hybrid, I bought the 4H and I can say I hit as high and long as my Callaway XR-16 5 wood BUT with a lot more consistency, just swing it and it goes long , straight and high.

My swing speed is about 93-95 with driver and guess at 58 am a senior.

PING G410. Got the 3 hybrid, regular flex. Worked great. Good distance. Consistent. No left issues. It worked so well I got a 2 hybrid, also Regular flex.

Pulled all fairway woods out of the bag. Now Driver (410 Plus), 2H, 3H, the PING G710 4-SW. At 63 with some health issues, including arthritis, I have found a bag combo that works for me.

I'm an aging former club junkie. Career handicap low was 4.3, now more like 14. After tinkering with too many clubs of every make and model (because I enjoyed experimenting) I have made the decision to settle on a full bag and not change out irons all the time. I went from, and currently retain in the golf room, just because I like them, MP20 and MP20HMB irons with Aerotech shafts and they are fabulous clubs.

However, my age and health changed my attitude, and I gained acceptance. I could not be happier. My golf life is easier and more enjoyable. Love the G410 hybrids.

Just my two cents. But the bottom line is find what works for your game and objectives.

I have the 3, 4 and 5 hybrids with Tensei Pro CK blue in stiff. Best hybrids I've found for my game.

Driver SS is 93-95, 225-230 carry. 59yo. this September.

Ping G410 are really easy to hit and they fly.

Go get a fitting with absolutely no brand bias. I had an all Titleist bag last year. I now have 6 brands in the bag and it's quite liberating. I just play what works.

I have tried many different hybrids over the years, TM, Nickent, Mizuno, Callaway, Cobra, but I have yet to find a hybrid that is easier to hit high, straight, long and soft landing than the 12 or so year old technology I am playing right now. In my personal opinion the Adams A3OS Boxer is one phenomenal hybrid but to each his own. I am actually considering taking fairway woods out of the bag and playing more wedges, we'll see how it goes. 68 yrs old as of April and still manage a few rounds in the 70's each year.
