Shot my best round !

Hey just needed to vent out about my personal best round of 79 (6400/70,7/129), played from the tip. This became possible because of my new fitted irons titleist t200 and many hours of practice.

Now i just need a way to score this consistently, wich as of right now is my new objective for the summer.

Front nine ended up with plus 2 after a triple bogey on the second hole... and then on the back nine, last 3 holes were bogeys :(. But to be fair it was insanely hot outside and was getting less consistent by the end.

Congrats!! I've only broken 80 once back in October 2019. Can't seem to get there again but a new job has changed my golf practice schedule dramatically! I hate it when works gets in the way of my golf game!! But i know the feeling! I was on cloud 9 when i got my personal best. Even my buddies that were my witnesses couldn't believe how i was playing that day! I love it when i amaze my friends!! Ha ha!!

Awsome. Ive come close with an 80 as my best. Was from whites on a 5800 yrd course. Speaking of fittings im getting one tuesday for the first time so im curious if it makes a big difference. Just the irons for now though. Im ok in driver deparment.

In my case it made a great difference. I had ap2 712 stantard length,lie,loft stiff flex. I played a few years with them and without really noticing, I had developed some kind of compensation in my swing to hit them flush. They were just too small for me and it made it hard to be consistent with them. So I decided to get a fitting in a very reputable course in my area. I loved this experience and ended up going a few times there to make sure everything felt good with the clubs, I was going to choose. In the end, I went from my old ap2 standard everything with a stiff flex to t200 1 inch longer, xstiff(kbs), standard loft and 4 degrees upright( im 6 foot, 3 inches). It was about god damm time. I feel now, way more confident with my clubs and very comfortable as well. That change made a huge difference in my game.

Wow sounds great. Cant wait for my fitting. Its amazing to think standard sets make us compromise our swings so much.
