Any Greyson Black/Silver/Grey Wolf Members?

Big fan of the Greyson stuff but find their hat selection pretty limited. They have a couple cool hats but they are only available as part of the either the Black Wolf or Grey Wolf memberships. Since I think those are $1k and $250 respectively, I don't know that it could be worth it. Silver Wolf is in the middle at $400 but not a fan of the hat for that one.

Any members here that can speak to what else you have access to in the limited stuff? Can the cost be justified?

If you have to ask then it probably isn’t.

Since there really isn’t any visibility into what is available behind the membership wall, I think asking is a legitimate way to gauge.

I hear you. I just find it hard to find value in paying that type of fee for some limited products. I also feel if it were justified we would have seen some sort of feedback here or in other areas of social media.

I think one of the perks is being able to embroider stuff. I really want to black omaha with the wolf on it that you get for the grey, but like you, $250 is alot.

As an avid Greyson loyalist - I will say this: Do Not Get a Membership!

Its a big scam, honestly. They never release any new “exclusive” product. If they do, it sells out instantaneously because it’s limited - especially the common sizes (M/L). The Members Only section does have a solid hat selection, but again, all sold out and hasn’t been restocked in 8 months. I will not be renewing my membership

Unless you plan on ordering from Greyson 25 times a year to recoup the $250, it just isn’t worth it. Seriously.

How long ago did you join? Just curious if any of the sold out issues or lack of re-stock issues might be COVID related. Bummer to hear as their stuff is about all I want to wear anymore and was thinking it might be worth it.

$250/$1000 for "access" to more things to buy? Give me a break. The quality of Greyson's clothing is above average, but the price is more than above average as well. On top of that their customer service, website maintenance, and quality control sucks. I own a couple of their shirts, but I won't be buying anything in the future.

Conceptually, the Membership model is smart - but there’s is a scam. If you patrol EBay or Poshmark, you can find what you’re looking for. I know it’s only $250/$400 - which isn’t much - but when you get virtually nothing in return, it’s a waste.

Thanks, guys. That pretty much answers it. Would be pretty annoyed if I spent the money and then everything was out of stock behind that wall anyway.

Wow, I was also thinking of joining as all the really cool stuff sells out so quickly. Glad I didn’t pull the trigger the other day.

Not worth the money. Hard to get items and very few limited release that are not similar to non membership. Saint Bernard and Trendy Golf sometimes have limited release Greyson

This is what has kept me from joining. Do what Scotty Cameron does with its Club Members and give cool stuff out to the members when you join for the year and you get access to limited merch. If Greyson did this I would think their membership would skyrocket.

Funny story with their quality control / customer service -- I ordered two pairs of the Montauk pants, and along with my correctly shipped pants I received a box of 25 items that obviously was not meant for me. When calling their customer service, they offered me a 10% off coupon that they would send when they received about $3500 retail worth of merchandise back. I ended up getting another pair of pants from it instead, but took them weeks to get them out to me after I shipped their merchandise back. You'd think they'd be quick and prompt when someone offers to send that much stuff back for free...

That is too bad. I want to join just to get the Greyson Members only face mask. Spend $250 just to get a $18 face mask. Would not be a smart move on my part... LOL

If anyone is a member and would buy the Greyson Members only face mask, I would pay you $30 plus shipping. Assume Greyson would ship to me if as a gift. Feel like an idiot for asking this... LOL. Just don’t want to join, just to buy a face mask... haha

has anyone that’s a black wolf member attended any of the events or outings they do? It appears they’ve had member outings at some pretty cool places. Beyond the retail benefits, connecting with other members and access to the events/gatherings seems to be a big perk they advertise. Thoughts on that? Also don’t you get $500+ in free swag when signing up? (Outerwear jacket, polo, and hat)

Any update on this? I’m seriously considering a membership but just want to know if anything has changed since last June when people said it was not worth it. Any insight?

I went to buy a hat and realized it’s members only. I was bummed when it was a members only product. I will pay someone to order me the hat if anyone still has a membership.

Same.  That was sparked the original post obviously - the lack of cool hats for general availability.  That hasn't really changed.

I totally agree. I want a hat that cost $40. But to buy it I have to pay $250 upfront to join a membership. I have bought at least 10 polos from them over the last year. But I might be looking for a different brand now.
