I'm really not the intro type, but...

...what the heck.

I'm a refugee from another golf site that's on life support, or worse. It's strictly the sound of crickets there. I miss the chance to chat with other folks about golf so I guess I'll be here full-time from here on in. Of late, I've given up on golf. I know...sounds funny. But, what I mean is that I've given up on the kind of golf mindset that I possessed for the first half-century of my life. I am older if not wiser now. So, my new attitude is that I don't play golf but I occasionally play golf.

No dang practice, no dang range time, no dang instructional vids; my game is what it is.

What a relief; I'm enjoying golf more than I have for...maybe ever.

I'm a writer by trade, a commercial writer though I've written one novel and am well into its sequel. Yes, both have a good quantity of golf in them, but neither are specifically golf novels.

Anyway, it's nice to be here and I look forward to hanging out, lurking and posting when the mood strikes.

Negative, I have never been disgraced or even remotely felt the feeling of being disgraced in my life.

However, I did send a $20 bill to phildaphony.com to support a "movement" to unearth the truths behind his "unusual" stock trades, the real reason he why "he missed" the 2017 US OPEN, the facts behind "the termination" of Bones and the funding of his brother's "legal battles."

Great to hear from you. Funny you should mention the novel. The narrative should be done in a couple weeks though I'm sure editing and formatting will take until 2021. Maybe sooner, but I wouldn't count on it!
