Grip Colors - Please Help

Need to re-grip woods and wedges and trying to decide grip colors. Thinking about the green golf pride in the woods, with all green in wedges. Or orange golf pride in woods with all orange in wedges. Are they too bright?

Just ordered the new “team” MCC plus 4s.

I never notice what color the grips are when I am swinging the clubs. Shouldn't matter in that regard. Pick whatever color you want to look at while they are in the bottom of your bag I guess.

Which brand/model are those solid color grips? I can't make them out from the pic.

Also, one thing to keep in mind is that colored grips can often be heavier than the standard/black version of the same model, so just something to keep an eye on if you're looking for consistency. A white Golf Pride Tour Wrap is 7 grams heavier than a black one, for example (55 g vs 48 g).

i went through a phase where i wanted my clubs to be a little more flashy and go for a certain color grips and i loved the look but when i then regripped them to something different i noticed the comfort of how it felt in my hand was much better than that of the colored grips. In all honesty probably not something where it actually made a noticeable difference in how i scored but definitely felt better.

So for me im more interested in how the performance is over the looks (could be said about clubs themselves too). Its an added bonus when you love the look of a certain grip and it feels the best to you too! Luckily its a relatively cheap investment and can be switched without much fuss if you end up not liking it. That being said i vote green!

Green is classy but orange is more eye-catching

I like my grips to match my socks.

After one too many, I bought some No1 golf grips. Picture on eBay was black. I got a full set of 10 I think. They arrive.....assorted skittles colors. Now I go back and read the ad with the absence of cocktails.....clearly states "this is for an assorted lot of grips"

Played them for two years, I don't know how many times I was asked about the grips....did I do it on purpose, any significance.....I told the above story 100 times.

My advice stick with 1 color....black worked for Henry Ford....

My vote would be for the green. I would highly recommend checking out the Iomic line though. I was a MCC loyalist for a long time because of feel but I just pulled the trigger on the Iomic Sticky 2.3's and couldn't be happier. They feel like a combo of the old trusty tour velvet and the MCC (minus the cord). Plus you get all kinds of color options.

Orange won’t be too bright. You liked them enough to be in your top two choices. Pick whatever color you like which I think is the orange. I say go for it!

Gripe color is your choice. I like mine to be multiple colors some times and others all the same. As long as it is same grip i am good.

MCC teams can't be beat. I have Carolina Blue with Heels stamping on one wedge and Orange and Blue grip with Gators stamping on another wedge. Remaining clubs are New Decade MCC White/Black
