Titleist personalized golf ball delay

First, I know Titleist was closed down for a while due to COVID-19. I placed an order with Golf Galaxy during the buy 3 get one free on March 19, the date scheduled for receiving was April 29. Yes, I had two lines of personalization on each ball. I have made numerous calls to Golf Galaxy and have been told personalized orders have been put at the end of the line and it may be another 6 weeks before delivery will be made. Has anyone else experienced this situation?

Yes, everybody's in the same boat. My order went in a few weeks after yours and maybe a month ago Titleist notified me (through my dealer) that it would be some time in July before they could ship personalized balls. The alternative was to get non-personalized at the same price but with delivery in June. That's what I did and I've already received mine from Titleist.

I hope I get that option. Definitely the way to go.

I ordered mine thru Edwin Watts in March and a couple weeks ago was given the option to switch to non-personalized balls. They are supposed to ship out to me next week.

If I'm honest, I'm as much about the 4-for-3 deal as I am the personalization. Although in an ideal world, I do like having my usual personalization on there every year.

I ended up cancelling my order, and took advantage of the Srixon BOGO sale.

I'm in the same boat, still waiting for my order. I personally have zero desire for a personalized ball, I just want the discount so I order some meaningless text on the ball.

I think I understand why Titleist limits the discount to personalized balls only (prevent resale?) but it's really costing them this year with cancelled orders, angry customers, and likely millions of dollars. Maybe they need a more customer-friendly policy for next year and just allow retailers to sell generic balls B3G4.

Pretty sure Titleist will still allow your dealer to change your order to non-personalized golf balls, you'll probably get them sooner that way.

I’ve been hearing it could be even more than 6 weeks...understandable but still stinks.

Only thing I noticed were 2 dozen were the previous generation Zstar but at a net 15 a dozen Im not complaining

Called to cancel my order and was told no cancelling, per their instructions, on personalized orders. Fortunately, I have a decent supply of other balls to draw from.

As a reference I have 4 dozen ordered March 26 thru TGW...changed it to no personalization to get it faster...no updates yet

Order from another source May 6 thru PGA Superstore...keeping the personalization...no updates yet.

I'm not in a rush, but this is a pretty long wait.

I ordered personalized Pro V1x on May 8

On May 21 I switched my order to non-personalized Pro V1x after the retailer contacted me to warn that the personalized balls would be delayed until at least July

My non-personalized order arrived from Titleist on June 15.

my pro shop just told me that all Loyalty Program orders will not ship until mid-August due to backlog from COVID factory closures...

That's disappointing, but their desire for safety is understandable. An additional free dozen would be welcomed for those of us continuing to hang in there!

Just spoke to them directly today, it's more like 4 weeks right now for personalized orders. It had been 8 to 10 weeks, but they are slowly ramping back up.

I ordered mine on 3/19.

I received a follow up email asking if I wanted to replace my personalized balls with standard balls on 4/28. I responded "no".

Followed up with them again on June 29. They said that they MAY ship in the middle of July, 4 MONTHS LATE!

I can always use the balls, as I play year round, but I've started to try different manufacturers' balls in the interim to see if any could serve as a replacement.

I ordered my balls on the first day of order. I have not checked on my order status but my pro shop received their first custom balls shipment couple days ago.

I am waiting too... but have to admit the TP5 and especially the new 2020 Chrome Soft may kick the Pro V1 out of my bag - the delay may have cost Titleist a loyalist.

I was never a Chrome Soft fan (especially with the my golf spy cut em up report), but this year's version has been very good to me distance wise, stopping wise, feel wise and score wise.

I ordered mine the first week you could, still have not showed. Ordered thru my pro shop, who has gotten 10-12 other orders, but not mine. Yellow maybe?

I just received an email saying they have been shipped! Fed Ex shows delivery will be Wednesday of next week. Fingers crossed!

Yep, cancelled my order

I ordered personalized Prov1's on 4/20/2020 or so from Puetz Golf in Seattle. Was told in early June that it was going to be a 2-3 month delay, so they gave me the option to switch to non-personalized and get them much sooner. I switched to non-personalized....and then received my personalized balls a week ago. Weird.
