What ball do you game?

I am just curious to see what ball people put into play and why? Personally try to stay away from the X models due to the clicky sound/feel off the face when putting/chipping. Currently playing the pro v1 as it's doing the trick this season.

Taylormade TP5 or Titleist ProV1

Pro V1 and Pro V1x left dash depending on the course and weather conditions. Pro V1x left dash works well when it's soft/wet and not windy. The more I use the Pro V1 the more it seems to be the better ball all around for me. Use these based on feel with irons and around/on the green and keeping spin down to more optimal numbers. Have tested TM TP5x and it performs well I just don't like the feel. Have a dozen Bridgestone Tour B X I just started to hit some balls around on the course and it's a good performer similar to the Pro V1.

Settled on the tp5 recently. I used to play the srixon z star but the tp5 gives me everything I need.

Usual top 2 are anything TM TP/X and the Srixon Z Star XV's.

TP5X , picked one up out of a range bucket and hit it like over 3. Also they make practice balls for 1/3 of the price. Sold.

Bridgestone BX and TM TP5

Srixon Q-Star Tour, currently. Feels nice and is long off the tee. Could spin a little more around the greens, but you get used to it.

Bstone Tour B XS, amazing all around ball for me, checks all the boxes...

I use the 2020 Chrome Soft with Triple Track. A much improved ball over the last generation of this model. It is a little firmer but not as "clicky" as the "X", and has more spin than the last version.

Titleist AVX. Love the low spin off the driver, and have no trouble spinning them with the irons.

Im an ideal candidate for a ball fitting....

Ive typically played the Chrome Soft X or ProV1 the last few years with a dabble into Chrome Soft Truvis for a bit. I’ve never liked feel of ProV1x but at the same time I’m a relatively low ball hitter on the course and could likely benefit from the launch and spin.

For 2020, I was on the ProV1 but I picked up 2 dozen 2019 version of the Bridgestone Tour B on sale. I got a dozen X and a dozen XS. Prefer the feel of the XS but I swear the X seems decently longer off Driver but it could be a coincidence of just those were great drives I hit. I don’t really do side by side testing (don’t hit it consistent enough even as a 2 HC) so I just play with each ball a few times.

I always enjoy the TP5x when I find one and end up playing with it in a casual round after a lost ball or something but for whatever reason don’t buy them.

the 2019 Bridgestone Tour B at $35/dozen are a great deal though. Not sure how much the new ones are but I’ve reached a point (finally) that I just don’t want to pay $45+ for a dozen balls so I like the previous year balls when available.

TP5X so far this year, but I did get a dozen of the new Bridgestone tour BX and those are pretty good as well. Definitely going to be playing around with those two to see if the Bridgestone will kick the TP5X out of the bag. Another one I’ve wanted to try is the Srixon z star XV. Found one on the course last year and it Was very nice until I drove through a fairway into a lake...

TaylorMade TP5 for the last season. Darn good ball.

I have been a Bridgestone guy for a while. I used to play the B330S, but playing the Tour BX now. Great all around ball. Good distance, good feel, and enough spin.

Tp5. Tried and loved. Distance off tee and spin around the greens

Been Playing The Vice ProPlus (not the 2020 model) for the last couple years and really like it.

Once my supply is out (hard when they give you 6 dozen balls for 120 bucks), I want to snag up the new 2020 Models as apparently they have improved them.

V1 for me. X spins too much with the wedges. Love the TP5X but it shreds like crazy with wedges.

Giving the TM Tour Response a spin currently. Nice ball, great feel, spins well-off short irons and wedges, long off the tee and seems good in the wind.

i2019 BXS because it's on sale and I have been able to pick up 7-10 yards with the irons over the 3-piece Kirkland balls while still being able to spin the ball like crazy. Way better in the wind too IMO.
