Toulon Chocolate Finish - Updated Pics 7/6

Updating my original post since my Toulon has arrived. Hopefully these pictures serve as a quality reference of what the finish looks like. The Toulon Garage knocked it out of the park with the Austin model and the Tour Chocolate finish!

I can send pics tomorrow, have a Las Vegas and a San Diego head I can share.

So how does it wear? Is it like the black wearing patterns? Or does the finish hold on strong?

Are there gold hues in it? Could just be my eyes playing tricks.

Asked one of the Toulons on IG and was told he had no pics and last time I asked questions on IG I got no response from Sean. Not calling him out as I’m sure he’s busy but there’s your answer. Rather just ask members who post on here and have one...

While I have not put either of them into extensive play, from what I can tell (and suspect) the finish should hold up pretty well. It's more of a semi gloss brown, maybe like an Oil Can Scotty brown but without the iridescence of a true oil can finish.

see pics, lighting is not great, but hopefully you get a better sense of the finish

If you go on their website and build a garage putter the stock paintfill is no upcharge. Just remove it yourself and you wouldn’t be charged anything extra.

I don’t disagree, but whoever you talked to isn’t making sense. Why pay $50 for white Paintfill “at a minimum” when you can pay nothing extra and get the stock paintfill?

i don’t see a company giving a credit for not using paint but not being able to accommodate that request seems odd.

That's why I'm asking Mr. Toulon about his SOP.

There should be 3 options under Paintfill:

1) Stock Paintfill - No Charge

2) No Paintfill - No Charge

3) Custom Paintfill - $50.00

It would not be hard to add the option to their e-commerce platform .... If they wanted to!

Had a KBS CT Tour shaft installed yesterday in the brushed chrome finish along with my usual Lamkin Deep Etched Cord grip. Looking forward to Saturday when I can play a full 18 with this putter for the first time.

I'm assuming these take a .370 shaft?
