Was doing some sleuthing to see if there was more information out there beyond the approved list USGA news from last week.

Came across a link on the Srixon site that I hadn't yet seen posted anywhere else, so figured i'd share here for folks who are interested.

Hard to say definitively, but looks like a slightly thinner v sole, removed the black from the cavity, and added a splash of red to the badging at the toe.

Looks really nice. Wish I knew when they were going to be released; getting fit for 585/785 combo set this week but might hold off...

Curious to hear what others think of the looks. I know the first impression was sort of mixed.

A little busy in the cavity but those look really nice. Good find!

Cavity is a little busy. Personally not a fan of showing off tungsten in the toe. The first impressions were that the ZX5 looked better than the ZX7, but not sure I like the ZX5 anymore. Certainly hope the ZX7 is the better looking iron. Otherwise I am more than happy to stick with 785.

Kinda seems like they are going after the Mizuno JPX look... I agree it looks a little busy

Look like a 585 with a little more offset. I'm sure they are good clubs. I'd wait and see if you like them and if not you might get a better deal on the 585/785 split set youre looking at.

My hunch (and I could be totally wrong) is that these will look even better in person. Kinda seems like the graphic rendering of the club makes the shading pretty drastic and real life lighting may make the lines look softer. Combo set could be a home run.

Yeah, the more I look at them, the more I actually think i'm just gonna go ahead with my fit this week. The last few weeks i've had the chance to hit both the 585 and 785 a few times, and really loving the way those suit my eye. I'm just going to leave well enough alone.

I noticed that little bit of increased offset here; I wonder if Srixon is trying to make the ZX5 a bit more appealing to the GI iron crowd? I feel like it's a really hard iron to categorize. Not players distance hollow construction, but performs like it. Not quite players cavity both because of the sole width and the lofts. And by no means a chunky, full GI club with the thinner top line and medium blade length.

It really occupies its own space. We'll see how people respond to this one when it's released. I feel like YouTube and the forums and the golf shops love them, just don't have the big money marketing machine.

    Thank you for the pictures!

These do look like a slightly more GI friendly version than previous lines. Tungsten in the 7-iron, v-sole more like 545's, more off-set, and with a little more mass out towards the toe. Interested to see the lofts and tech story.

Look so much better than the USGA pics. These have a lot of purchase potential. Hopefully they’re available this fall....

Ha, I did my best but no luck. It looks like the Srixon site has a portal where password-protected content for limited releases lives.

This link was there and just happened to not be password protected this morning when I was searching.

Wasn't able to find any ZX7 or Utility assets that were accessible.

So guessing there's no set GW either. Frustrating when a company does that. Especially in a GI type iron.

Srixon just keeps making great looking irons, and these are no different. I would have these at the top of my wish list if I were looking to buy a players cavity forging.

Thanks for posting the find. They look fantastic. I love my 565s and really don't need another set....but I know I'll be tempted....

The only thing I don't like about my 565s are the GH980 shafts... I would get sightly heavier shafts in my next set.

I personally would like to see them be a little more GI friendly and separate them from the ZX7 a little more....
