Glove sizes on PGA Tour

Out of curiosity I was wondering what glove sizes some of the players wear on the PGA Tour, and compare that to what grip size they use (number of wraps / build up).

For example, DJ does a 58 grip with + 2.5 wraps. What size glove does he wear?

Or Rory does a 58 grip with +1 wrap

Or Tiger does a 58 grip with no wrap in some clubs, and +1 wrap in other clubs, so they are all identical in diameter.

etc.

Just curious if there is a correlation with players and the glove size they wear and grip size, but I can't find glove sizes of players anywhere.

I hear tigers undies are extra small...

Pretty clear... glove size to grip size correlation. After all, almost every company has a glove to grip size chart so...

There are many more factors for glove size and grip preference along with how the club is held. You can have 2 guys with a Large glove, one guy can have really long finger and play midsize or larger depending on how he holds the club, then another guy can have really thick palm and short fingers and play a standard size grip. Then you have extreme outlier like Bryson playing a massive XL grip with an insane 1.46" butt diameter which is as big or bigger than most putter grips.

I think with grips best thing to do is just grab a bunch until you find one that feels good in your hands and go from there.

What about shoe size?

Whole lot of women should be able to tell you more about that ;)

For the OP: why would you want to know? Tour players tend to shed gloves every couple of holes, what they do with them doesn’t compare to anything we do. Or do you switch your $10-$20 dollar gloves a couple times per round too?

I use Callaway Dawn Patrol, after a couple holes they tend to fit a bit larger, it seems that when this happens to the girls and guys on tour, they switch it out. Making a comparison useless to me. :)

It would be interesting to know glove sizes VS grip size on tour, but it doesn't help us much to pick a grip size.

Use a grip sizing chart, then try a few and decide. Different brands + models also can result in different sizes.

Now besides .580 + .600 grip sizes, there are models that are +2 or +4 under the bottom hand or you can do that with tape, if that is what you like.
