***ATTENTION***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***ATTENTION***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***ATTENTION

Last year, in an effort to improve the capability of our forums, we switched to new software. We expected tremendous scalability and rapid customization that would significantly improve each Member's experience across multiple devices and integrate flawlessly with social media platforms.

Unfortunately, after a significant capital expense, we have decided that the length of time and the additional cost to reach our goals make this enterprise untenable.

Thus, we have made the difficult decision to transition the forums to our original software platform. We’re excited that, in the nearly two years since we began the process of our most recent switch, our original platform has been upgraded significantly, and we are confident that the reversion will not only provide the stability that we desperately needed prior to our last move but will also return to the Membership the high level of customization that made our online community so great. We have also added technical resources to the GolfWRX staff that will allow us to build custom modules and modifications that we are confident will take the forums to the next level.

We remain the world's largest online golf community, and we still hold true to our core values and mission statement as written in 2005. Bearing both of those elements in mind, being the best and offering our Members a platform that is world-class are both requirements, not options, and it is that spirit that has motivated this decision.

So, please pardon our mess over the next five days or so while we transition the forums.

A few important notes: Current content will be accessible during that time, but the forums will be READ ONLY, and you will not be able to start new threads or reply to posts. Personal Messaging is enabled but PMs sent/received from the time the board was frozen will not carry over. We know this is inconvenient, and we apologize, and we greatly appreciate GolfWRXers bearing with us through the transition.

We are very excited about starting this next chapter for GolfWRX and getting back to the high-quality Member experience we all expect as soon as possible.

69 with two doubles is my lowest. Wasn’t really a memorable round until the last 4 holes when I went birdie, par, eagle, birdie.... lol

I feel like I can shoot a 65 or so if I keep it clean and have a really good day. Hasn’t happened yet tho... lol. Last week I shot 74 with 6 birdies, three doubles and 3 putted an eagle putt from 25 ft... I also lipped out/barely missed 5 other birdie putts. WTF?

    Just casual rounds.

    69 on a par 68 course rated at 61.

    74 on a "real" course. Par 72

77 in a Calcutta tournament years ago. I won a lot of money.

I was 2 over through 16. My previous best was a 77 and I'm standing on the short par 3 17th thinking, "All I need is birdie birdie to reach my holy grail". 18 was a short par 4.

Bogey bogey 76. Best I've ever shot at Mistwood outside of Chicago. Beautiful course with the best practice facilities I've ever seen.

65 on a 6,200 yard par 71 Municipal course that I’ve played close to 100 times. I’ve broken 70 a few times on this track. This course was built pre-WWII and its primary defense is its postage stamp greens. I am more proud of my 69 on a 6,800 yard par 72 Championship course (home to the LPGA Friendly’s classic in the 1990s). This course has tight fairways and slick, sloping greens similar to Donald Ross although Geoffrey Cornish was the architecture, built in 1958.

Shot 69 in the Club Champ a few years back.

Finished the guy off on 14 and played the final 4 holes 2-over. Couldnt keep the focus once the match was finished.

62 from the whites (6,415) in a county senior am. Best round was a 69 from the tips (7,200) 75,1 / 142 slope course that has a tough rep here in SoCal.

    69. Par 71. Breaking 70 was a long time goal. Felt really good to finally do it.

My lowest is a 77. It was the first time I had ever broken 80, went into the final hole knowing a bogey would finally do it, and ended up chipping in for a birdie. Completely bladed, made my heart go to about 300 bpm but it hit the pin and dropped!

The white tees at Mile Square Classic. Ultra hot with the putter that day, hole looked like a trash can. Touched by the hand of God. I'm streaky and have that potential. I'm not at all consistent.

I think I was playing to a 3 or 4 around then. Shot 65 the day before on the Players course ( white tees) . Won another tournament 2 weeks later with a 68 at ChetWash and won another two weeks after that with a 69 at Lakewood.Best stretch of golf in my life. Then it all reverted back to the guy who shoots 75-85. Haven’t been under par since.

70 twice on a pretty tight but not long course (6600 yards).

18th hole is a par 5. Just off the green in two and had a simple chip. Up and down would have given me a 69. I failed. Walked away with a par and my second ever 70.
